MISS SCARLET AND THE DUKE VICTORIAN TV SERIES WITH STUART MARTIN RENEWED FOR SEASON 2 AT PBS! EWAN MCGREGOR, HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN, RUPERT FRIEND, JOEL EDGERTON TO LEAD OBI WAN KENOBI STAR WARS TV SERIES

ARE RETURNING FOR SEASON 2
The first season was a rather big hit for PBS Masterpiece, with more than eight million people tuning in to watch MISS SCARLET AND THE DUKE
A+E has opted out of the production
historical adventure series, and now it has been confirmed that it will return for the second run but without A + E Network who originally launched it. The series will return next year only to PBS. Kate Phillips starred in the six episode series as Eliza Scarlet whose father dies and leaves her penniless so she takes over his business – a private detective agency. To operate in the business better she joins Detective Inspector William Wellington of Scotland Yard, played by our dearest Stuart Martin, who is also known as “The Duke;” drinker, gambler and womaniser. Eliza and The Duke strike up a mismatched, fiery relationship that will crackle and smoulder with sexual tension as they team up to solve crime in the murkiest depths of 1880’s London.

 OBI WAN KENOBI SERIES  
ANNOUNCES DISNEY + CAST
Disney + has announced cast for their new Star Wars TV series OBI WAN KENOBI which will be led by Ewan McGregor, who will now be joined by Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse as uncle Owen and his wife Beru with whom a baby Luke Skywalker is left after Anakin Skywalker turns to the dark side and becomes

Darth Vader! The cast will also have Rupert Friend, Indira Varma, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Kenobi, played by Ewan McGregor, faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. Production starts next month.

    1. I did not want to watch it before because there was a lot of toxic feminism in the trailer, but I did download it now because there is nothing else to watch and I do adore Stui Martin. Cannot stand the female lead, though, horrid actress.

  2. Neither of these are for me. I wasn’t sure how well Miss Scarlet would do when I first heard about it, but 8 million viewers getting it to a season 2 sounds like it’s going to be here for awhile.
