over twenty years to attend the funeral of his childhood friend, Luke, who allegedly killed his wife and child before taking his own life - a victim of the madness that has ravaged this community after more than a decade of drought. When Falk reluctantly agrees to stay and investigate the crime, he opens up an old wound - the death of 17 year old Ellie Deacon. Falk begins to suspect these two crimes, separated by decades, are connected. As he struggles to prove not only Luke's innocence but also his own, Falk finds himself pitted against the prejudice towards him and and pent-up rage of a terrified community.  The fifth biggest debut for an Australian movie ever is based on the book by Jane Harper.

  1. These both look good, but the first one for the win. This is the first lockdown movie that I've heard of! I have to circle back when I'm home and have sound to watch the trailer.

  3. Why can't I come up with brilliant ideas, like knocking off department stores, when I've had too much wine to drink? Jason never got to stay home during quarantine since his company was responsible for getting medical grade masks to the hospitals here. I think I would have rather liked him to be home for a few months with me instead of being like the couple in the second pouting about having to put up with each other daily.

    1. You will have all the time in the world together this year! I'd rather love to heist up a department store myself, we should come up with a plan.
