  1. I'm glad that somewhere in the world the people are enjoying the cinemas! In a few months it will be a year since any have been open by me. Broadway has also been closed almost a full year. Did you hear Law & Order SVU is hiring Broadway actors to film with them to keep them working?

    1. It is very sad for all artists as they have been hit by covid in a very cruel way, totally incapacitated to work. Our theatres work, but musicians cannot schedule gigs and concerts. With masks on, and limited number of audience, theatres should be safe for work.

  2. Good for Russian people. It's hard lockdown over here...no way we can visit a cinema now. These days I do almost all the things online.

    1. Our cinemas and theatres are open, but shops and cafes have to close before 20h.

  3. That's great that the Russian's have found a way to thrive through this pandemic. We've completely lost our minds here, and not that I don't think the virus is serious business, but I do think there are ways we can safely still enjoy things, like the cinema, while working through the pandemic. If I can have people crowding me when I'm shopping for groceries, then I can sit 6 feet away from people at the cinema with my mask on and be just as safe.

    1. China also had a successful year in cinema even though they were the centre of it all! Our cinemas and theatres leave one seat empty between people, methinks. But nobody is going to cinema today as we have massive protests in the city since the government has decided to tax all freelancers five years retroactively and take 60% of everything they earned. And freelancers here are usually people who simply could not get a proper job in the corrupted country and have used money they earned to pay for the living.

  4. Cool to hear and interesting that it's a Disney production. I'll skip because it's in Russian and I've already got so much to watch already. 😏🤷‍♂️

  5. What a crock of crap! I’d protest that too. We’ve got some corrupt government here, but I sometimes wonder why your people haven’t burnt the entire country to the ground yet with the BS they tend to throw at you all :(

    1. Because we're used to being under feckers and know that after one fecker another will come, so we lost our spirits somewhere along all the killing, raping, bombing, molesting, humiliating that we've suffered through.
