  1. These both sound great! While the first one is a new story to me, I'm very familiar with the second. There is a climbing type of jungle gym in Disney World dedicate to Swiss Family Robinson as well.

    1. The Darling Buds of May were such a beloved and sweet classic series, very relaxing, feelgood and optimistic, it was one of Catherine Zeta Jones' first roles.

  2. You know I loved me some Durrell's, so I'll be adding the first to my list. I know I've seen Swiss Family Robinson, but I don't remember much about it. I do love the jungle gym at Disney dedicated to the film. I'll have to see who's in the remake (Disney has a way of casting people I don't love these days) before deciding to watch that one.

    1. I think you'd really adore the original Darling Buds of May as well, find it on some of the streamers if you can, it is probably on BritBox or somewhere, it has the cosy warmth of a lazy Sunday festive morning. It reminds me of the days when the TV still had some innocence on.

    2. I will see if I can find the original on torrent here. Sometimes it's harder for us to find older shows, but also sometimes we get lucky.

    3. It is tough finding them on Torrents as well, especially with subs.
