also air on German TV at Christmas. 1779. Eight year old Ludwig van Beethoven, called "Louis", is already known as a musical prodigy. He learns to go his own way much to the dismay of the people around him. Some years later, he meets Mozart during times of political upheaval. The unconventional genius and French Revolution are sparking a fire in Louis' heart; he doesn't want to serve a master - only the arts. Facing times of family tragedies and unrequited love, he almost gives up. However, Louis makes it to Vienna to study under Haydn in 1792, and the rest is history. Who was this man, whose music has since touched countless hearts and minds? At the end of his life, the master is isolated by loss of loved ones and hearing. Surely though, he was way ahead of his times.

  1. Is Dungeons and Dragons still a thing? I remember when it was really popular 20 some odd years ago. I had no idea what it was and some guy came in to the book store I was working at and asked for "role playing" books. I sent him to the relationship section because I though he was into some weird sex stuff LOL

    2. That's a lot! I don't know anyone who plays it though. It's mostly World of Warcraft that I hear about in these parts.

    3. I think our friend Adam adored it LOL It is one of the first games that actually made games widely popular and beloved. I liked the original movie as well, even though it was mildly stupid LOL It had nice cast.

  2. Wait a second, Chris Pine is in the new Wonder Woman? But, how?! I reallllyyyy enjoyed the Beethoven trailer. I'm going to show my daughter again later so she can hear the piano. (Trying to convince her to take lessons but all she's interested in is ballet!)
