BLACK NARCISSUS is set in Mopu, Himalayas, in 1934 at a
remote clifftop palace once known as the ‘House of Women’, the location
holds many dark secrets. When the young nuns of St. Faith attempt to
establish a mission there, its haunting mysteries awaken forbidden
desires that seem destined to repeat a terrible tragedy. During the
latter years of British rule in India, ambitious young nun Sister
Clodagh

That first picture of the nun on the rope is creeping me out. Why is her face so pale? lol
ReplyDeleteYours would be too if you were hanging from the edge of a precipice LOL
DeleteNothing with "dark secrets" ever seems to end well. WHY did she shave off her hair?? I don't have sound on my work computer but I literally gasped when I saw the head shaving..
ReplyDeleteBecause the devil went into her and she has to make herself less attractive against Nivola, I guess so that she wouldn't sin like the sinful temptress that she is LOL I wonder if Gemma really shaved her locks in that scene, how do you fake that?
DeleteLooks positively wicked!
ReplyDeleteIt will be my fave watch this winter :) I'm currently absolutely loving Oktorberfest and Barbarians at Netflix.
DeleteI will catch up on both of those after the holidays. We're in full holiday movie watching mode here now.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun!
