Deadline reports, they will turn THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA into TV series but it will be more faithful to the Gaston Leroux’s 1910 iconic novel than to the famous musical based on it. Anthony Horowitz is to pen and reimagine Leroux’s gothic story about a disfigured composer, who lives in the depths of the Paris Opera House and falls for singer Christine with tragic consequences. The below mentioned Gerard Butler starred as the phantom in the 2004 movie directed by recently deceased Joel Schumacher.

  1. As much as I love Gerard Butler, I can’t watch these types of movies. I find myself forgetting to breathe during it and then awake all night after it.

  2. I'm opposite Jax here. I do like these types of movies. Books too. Makes you think about how you'd fare in these types of situations. If Corona taught us anything, most humans will show their ugly sides faster than anything and it will truly be every man for himself at that point.

    2. I'd fare as dead. LOL Maybe that's why I don't like this genre too much. hahaha

    3. I hope I'd be one of the first ones wiped out. I'm not made for rough living.

    4. Maybe we'd all discover a cunning fox in us in such situations when survival instinct kicks in.

    5. If so, I'd be the lone wolf of the pack. People tend to get on my nerves as it is, so I'd try my luck at fending for myself if I did survive.

    6. Well, you could at least take Jason with you, geez.... I'd like a few firefighters with me in that situation.

    7. I might consider taking him, if he survived. His dumb ass would probably end up getting killed trying to save me though. Reminds me of the time he tried saving my $1 flip flop from floating down the river (which he saved) but lost his $100 sunglasses in the process lol.
