As we've had a week of very interesting movie scripts, here's yet another one for you: as Deadline reports
Wes Ball (Maze Runner) will direct the movie adaptation of
THE FIRST FIFTEEN LIVES OF HARRY AUGUST an award winning science fiction novel by
Claire North! Produced by
Amblin Partners, the story of the upcoming movie follows a man who is repeatedly born into the same life, remembers all his past experiences, and seeks to save the world by outmanoeuvring a similarly gifted rival who’s willing to make any sacrifice to attain a godlike knowledge.

Speaking of adaptations, we are getting a a contemporary retelling of the biblical book of Hosea in the big screen version of historical romance
REDEEMING LOVE by
Francine Rivers. Lots of well known names in the cast:

D.J. Caruso directs the 2021 movie which takes place against the romantic backdrop of the California Gold Rush of 1850. The story centres on Angel (

DeleteRedeeming Love does sound like a compelling book. I'm going to look it up on Amazon right now. :) Nina Dobrev is a name that I haven't heard since The CW. Glad to see she is still acting!
ReplyDeletePeople seem to love the book, it has been translated in more than 30 languages around the world. Dobrev starred in FAM sitcom last year, I wrote about it many times ;)

I don't like Nina and Famke either. I do like Eric Dane but I haven't seen him in many movies.
DeleteYeah, he's more of a TV series kinda guy, I guess. I did watch him in Grey's Anatomy and... don't remember where else.
DeleteI watched him in that series in which he is the captain of an army boat in the middle of an apocalypse. He recently had a full frontal scene in some new series of his, methinks.
