'CHAPELWAITE' TV SERIES
EMILY HAMPSHIRE CAST AS LEAD NEXT TO ADRIEN BRODY
Adrien Brody will take the lead role
I've recently informed you that Epix has cast Adrien Brody as the lead in their new 19th century series CHAPELWAITE based on Stephen King's Jerusalem's Lot, and now they've cast Emily Hampshire as the female lead next to Adrien's Captain Charles Boone, who, back in 1850s, relocates his family of three children to his ancestral home in the small, seemingly sleepy town of Preacher’s Corners, Maine after his wife dies at sea. However, Charles will soon have to confront the secrets of his family’s sordid history, and fight to end the darkness that has plagued the Boones for generations.

Emily Hampshire will play Rebecca Morgan, an ambitious young woman who left Preacher’s Corners to attend Mount Holyoke College, and has returned home with an advance to write a story for the new and prestigious Atlantic Magazine. Her writer’s block lifts when Boone arrives in town with his children, and despite her mother’s protests, Rebecca applies
Emily Hampshire will be the new governess in Chapelwaite manor
to be governess of the infamous CHAPELWAITE manor and the Boone family in order to write about them. In doing so, Rebecca will not only craft the next great Gothic novel, she’ll unravel a mystery that has plagued her own family for years.

  1. Interesting. I haven't read King in years. As a widowed mother of young children I could afford to be scared to death. And Salem's Lot did that. lol I'll have to see if this is tied to that one.

  2. I'm sure it will be terrifying since it's based on something by Stephen King.

  4. Emily Hampshire kinda looks like Eva Green. I’d be more interested in reading her gothic novel.
