FOR A STAR STUDDED SERIES
This one, I think, has no competition when it comes to having the strongest cast in a television series this year! Imelda Staunton, Stephen Rea, Francesca Annis, Russell Tovey and Vincent Regan all star in FLESH AND BLOOD new four part drama which will air on ITV from Monday 24th of February in four consecutive nights!
Flesh And Blood Is A Modern Story
of three adult siblings, exploring universal themes of relationships, trust, loyalty and love against the backdrop of the build-up to, and aftermath of, a tragic crime. The already dysfunctional lives of Helen, Jake and Natalie (Russell Tovey, Claudie Blakley and Lydia Leonard) are thrown into
disarray when their recently widowed mother Vivien (Francesca Annis)
declares she’s in love with a new man. Their suspicions are heightened
as retired surgeon Mark (Stephen Mark) sweeps their mother off her feet,
shifting her priorities away from her children. Years of secrets, lies,
rivalries and betrayals come to the surface and threaten to blow apart
everything they’ve held dear. Then there's Mary (Imelda Staunton), who
has lived next
door to Vivien for 40 years. Despite not being family,
Mary appears overly attentive to Vivien and her family's unfolding
drama. With their large family home, inheritance and happy childhood
memories all at risk, the siblings attempt to find out more about Mark.
But will their long-buried grudges, complex relationships and
complicated personal lives allow them to pull together?

DeleteYou definitely do if you haven't heard of Imelda Staunton, she's Britain's biggest thespian next to Judi Dench and Maggs Smith. Her husband Jim Carter is also a famous British actor. Francesca Annis is also famous, but she did take a break after DUNE and then reappeared in recent decade with a lot of series on BBC and ITV. Russell Tovey is, meanwhile, one of the hottest Brits ever, cuteness personified, he actually starred for years in your Quantico show with that daft tart Priyanka Chopra.
DeleteI'm almost afraid to tell you that the only name I recognize out of all that is Priyanka Chopra. In my defense, I only know her as Nick Jonas's wife.

DeleteSimply downsizing. Allison will be moved out in 2 years and this house is just too big for just two of us. It’s a lot for me to keep up on as well, especially when I’m feeling unwell, so I want something smaller that’s easier to maintain. Jason wants more land without many neighbors, which has been hard to find. I think we will end up just buying land and have something built that matches our specifications to save on house hunting frustration.

DeleteUnfortunately, we will be staying in South Bend since I don't want to disrupt Allison's schooling. The dream was always to retire to North Carolina. We may do that eventually, but looks like we'll be stuck in this area for a few more years.
