NETFLIX TRAILER IS HERE!
Earlier this Autumn I've shown you the first photos from Netflix' new mutlicam sitcom MERRY HAPPY WHATEVER and today we can cheer you up with the first trailer as well! It will be just one of the festive
programmes to entertain you this Christmas (to see what else is in store click Christmas down among labels)! The eight episode comedy will launch November 28th with the plan for the possible future seasons to cover other holidays!

The Family Is No Holiday
Dennis Quaid leads the sitcom as Don Quinn, a strong willed patriarch from Philadelphia doing his best to balance the stress of the holidays with the demands of his close knit but eclectic family — and his family doing their best to manage him. But when youngest
daughter Emmy (Bridgit Mendler) arrives home from L.A.
with a new boyfriend, struggling musician Matt (Brent Morin who was also
her boyfriend in Undateable sitcom at NBC), Don’s belief that “there’s
the Quinn way… and the wrong way" is put to the test.

Christmas is sneaking up fast. I can't believe we're in November already.

DeleteDennis Quaid must have fallen on hard times to agree to be in this.
ReplyDeleteWhy is that? I think working in multicam sitcoms is the best an actor can give to the audience - instead of playing vile Jokers that inspire criminals and murderers, why not play a character that gives the people heartwarming laughs and wholesome fun each week bringing joy and warmth to homes and families?
DeleteWow - Hard to believe I will be watching Christmas shows soon. I was in the local Target yesterday and they were putting everything up, the countdown is about to begin.

I did like the trailer, but hopefully they didn't put their best bits in it and the rest of the show will drag on. I do like the idea of them covering other holidays as well. That's a fun idea for a Netflix series.
ReplyDeleteI just don't know how I will handle Mendler and Tisdale, they're both atrocious. Hopefully there is more of Brent in it than them.
DeleteI was thinking the same thing about those two. They definitely aren't my favorite, but I do love holiday theatrics, so we'll see if we can look past those two brats.
