I'm sure that most of you will agree with me that the first season definitely was not what we expected we would see when they told us we were getting a new historical series about the Roman invasion of Great Britain. We expected to see mighty legions, brave Celtic queens and warriors in chariots, but instead we got crazed mystics, psychotic generals, a couple of weed smoking Roman junkies and the only even remotely likeable character dead right after she finally became the Celtic

Sky's most watchable series last year (not that they have a lot of them) and the second season of

The Story Of The Second Season
Two years after arriving in Britannia, General Aulus Plautius (

Morrissey) is Romanising willing Celt tribes with the help of the new
Celtic

resist. But Aulus looks to have a hidden agenda that makes him an

man”, wakes, the pair begin an epic battle of wills that divides the
Druids and puts the prophecy in jeopardy.
This doesn't seem like something I would watch. Especially since the only likeable character is now dead. :)

DeleteThose posters are horrible. I hate the colors because it's so hard on the eyes. This does not sound like a pleasant series.
ReplyDeleteThe music in the series is equally horrible and annoying :) I thought the first season was one of the worst epic series I've ever watched.
