GAL GADOT TO FIGHT THE NAZIS IN IRENE SENDLER HISTORICAL WW2 DRAMA! STRANGELY BIZARRE TRAILER FOR PERIOD SET DRAMA JUDY & PUNCH WITH MIA WASIKOWSKA, DAMON HERRIMAN

IRENE SENDLER WORLD WAR TWO MOVIE DRAMA
Two period set projects for you today, starting with Warner Bros who has hired Gal Gadot as the lead in their WWW2 movie IRENE SENDLER which she will also produce with her husband. The movie tells the harrowing story of a woman’s defiant stand against Nazi Germany’s occupation of Poland and the incredible network she developed to care for and save 2500 Jewish children from the Warsaw ghetto. Following her arrest by the Gestapo during the height of the war, the drama becomes a race against time to save not only herself but the identities of the hidden thousands who’ll face certain execution.

A strange, very strange, mix of comedy, drama, horror and period set thriller can be seen in the first trailer for JUDY & PUNCH which is out this November in UK, set in Seaside (nowhere near the sea), where puppeteers
The movie will hit UK cinemas next month after a run around film festivals
Judy (Mia Wasikowska) and Punch (Damon Herriman) are trying to resurrect their marionette show in an an anarchic town on the brink of mob
Mirrah  Foulkes both wrote and directed the movie
rule. When small town puppeteer Punch accidentally kills his baby during a drinking binge his wife, Judy, having suffered a violent beating, teams up with a band of outcast heretics to enact revenge on Punch and the entire town of Seaside.

  1. "Judy & Punch" looks intriguing. Mia Wasikowska usually takes roles that have something to say.

  2. Ugghh... a race to save herself and the children? I find it incredibly difficult to watch anything that shows harm against a child. Accidentally killed his baby?? Children in harm's seems to be the theme today. :(

  3. I hope Judy gets her revenge. Such callous attitudes everyone seems to have about human life in this one.

    I do like Gal, and always find stories about the hero’s of WW2 fascinating, so Irene Sendler is definitely on my watch list.
