  1. It's quite interesting the way SP series such as The Stand depicts a reality that might well be our upcoming reality. A virus getting out of control somewhere and causing destruction, is hardly fiction anymore.
Mother Abigail, an allusion to Mother Theresa?

    1. The thing is - our reality is often scarier than these apocalyptic series!

  2. Once again, fans will be pissed that it won't be true to the book. Why does King need a new ending? Can't we just leave well enough alone for once?

    1. They probably want to surprise the audience, it is a miracle he accepted to write the new ending.

    2. Surprise or disappoint? Seems like true fans of his work never like the changes made when his books are adapted to film or tv.

    3. They are doing that to Agatha too over at BBC regularly!
