PREMIUM SPOTLIGHT ON MACABRE MIND BLOWING THRILLER MINI SERIES LAMBS OF GOD WITH ESSIE DAVIS, ANN DOWD, SAM REID

     'LAMBS OF GOD'
EVERY FAIRY TALE HAS DARK SIDE
The series is based on Marele Day novel
This one has just finished its four episode run over at Australian Foxtel who produced it, but if I'm not mistaken it is also airing on HBO's inter national cable channels so most of you can probably catch it there: Gothic thriller mini series LAMBS OF GOD starring Essie Davis, Emmy Award winner Ann Dowd and Sam Reid in a four part drama which centres around three eccentric, secluded nuns, each a generation apart, living on a

unfolds is a psychological and frightening game of survival; a thrilling ride in which the nuns become criminals and Father Ignatius is forced to confront his own personal weaknesses.

FERAL NUNS IN A MONASTERY
The mini series is actually a small screen adaptation of a captivating Marele Day novel, in the form of a very atmospheric and highly stylized, a lush, evocative drama that is both ancient and incredibly modern, with its timeless

  2. I hope we get to see this in Canada! Ann Dowd, the older nun, played Aunt Lydia on The Handmaids Tale and was chilling in that role too!

    1. Try to check it out on your HBO channel in Canada, or maybe Fox there.

  3. Isolation does crazy things to people especially if coupled with religion. By religion I don't mean Faith which usually keeps us sane and sound, but the organized religious system of church, bishop, priest, monastery, nuns - and their counterpart in other religions.
The three nuns look quite impressive in the posters!

    1. It seems they all have some strange backstories which make them really really badly not wanting to leave the island and lose it. Especially Iphigenia!

  4. Try and take a woman's home, she's bound to get a little pissed. I'll be looking for it on HBO.

  5. I first thought it was going to be a documentary about the Metal band Lamb of God.

Nuns are creepy in film except for Sister Act.
