The dreams of street dancer Anton of conquesring the dancing Olympus
collapse when an accidental injury plunges him into a world of silence.
With the loss of the ability to hear, Anton loses the meaning of life.
But it is precisely in this difficult moment that he meets true love and
finds his vocation. Passion for dance is impossible to erase, and
deafness is not a sentence. Anton learns to hear the music coming from
inside, and begins to teach dancing to children with hearing impairment.
He prepares an extraordinary number and takes a huge risk by combining
his former team and deaf children in a new dance.

Speaking of dearest Rinal, beside Battle and his science fiction spectacle Coma, he has another epic movie coming out this summer: ABIGAIL
which hits Russia August 22nd, Brazil from September and then moves to Serbia, Croatia and rest of Balkans in October. The movie is expected to break records in Russia.

Also starring Eddie Marsan and Tinatin Dalakishvili, it follows a
young girl Abigail who lives in a city whose borders were closed many
years ago because of an epidemic of a mysterious disease. Abby's father
was one of the sick - and he was taken when she was six years old. Going
against the authorities to find his father, Abby learns that her city
is actually full of magic. And she discovers in herself extraordinary
magical abilities.
As far as I know, we have a deaf-blind theater group in Israel. In China, they have a Deaf Dance Group. The teachers have found a way to help with music by creating vibrations. I suppose, there are troupes like this in other countries too.

DeleteBattle looks great! Reminds me of the video I saw on Facebook earlier this year where the daughter bought her deaf father concert tickets to his favorite band. He could still feel the vibrations and with her signing the lyrics, he could still fully immerse himself in the experience... found it on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClYimdUE5os
ReplyDeleteYes, and that video with a boy who brought his deaf friend to a concert and then spent it showing him the lyrics with sign language, and that boy that took his blind friend to a soccer match and kept showing him what is happening on the field using his hands.
