JUDE LAW TO LEAD
THE THIRD DAY MINI SERIES
While you are probably still thinking of those white trunks beach photos of his (don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about), Jude Law is
setting up a new project for himself: mystery drama THE THIRD DAY for British Sky and HBO (they've already did Chernobyl and Catherine the Great together).

In the six episode series, he will play Sam, who after being drawn
to a mysterious Island off the British Coast, is thrown into the unusual
world of its secretive inhabitants. Isolated from the mainland, the
rituals of the island begin to overwhelm him, and he is confronted by a
trauma from his past. As the line between reality and fantasy blurs, Sam
finds himself immersed in an emotional quest which puts him at odds
with the islanders and begins to threaten their way of life. If I got it
right, the series will have an internationally famous cast.
Well, the white trunks was new to me. I had to go Google those pics. He really is taking the itty bitty swimwear to a new level there ;)

DeleteThe first impulse upon seeing the title is Why the third day, why not the second or the fifth?
ReplyDeleteWell, whatever the answer, the title is probably meant to add to the mystery of the island and its inhabitant who are the core of this six-part drama.
Must be something interesting going on the third day!
