2019 NEW MULTICAM SITCOMS
FRAN DRESCHER IN UNINSURED!
Rejoice, spylings, some of our favourite comedians are returning to the small screens! I've informed you recently that Adam Pally and Abby Elliott will
Fran Drescher will play the Uninsured mother
lead the pilot for NBC's new multicam sitcom UNINSURED and now the queen of comedy herself Fran Drescher is joining them as well! The story revolves around young parents Dave (Pally) and Rebecca (Elliott), who end up having to take care of Dave’s parents who have mishandled their finances and need help to pay down a sizeable debt. Fran Drescher will play Linda, described as a woman who loves her kids and grandkids as much as she loves reminding people she’s from Brooklyn. This will be our dearest Fran's return to sitcoms after The Nanny, Living with Fran and Happily Divorced.

JEAN LUC BILODEAU CAST IN CAROL'S SECOND ACT AT CBS
Over at CBS, they've cast another of our beloved sitcom stars. Baby Daddy's sweetest heartthrob Jean Luc Bilodeau has joined the pilot of Patricia
Jean Luc Bilodeau will be one of the interns!
Heaton's sitcom CAROL'S SECOND ACT in which she will play Carol Chambers who after raising her two children and retiring from teaching, embarks on a unique second act: she’s going to become a doctor. Bilodeau will play Daniel, the second member of Carol’s quartet of interns. He graduated from Harvard in 2014 and from Harvard Medical School in 2018 and already is published in The New England Journal of Medicine — twice. Kyle MacLachlan has also joined as Dr. Frost, the Senior Attending Physician on the ward (as well as the Department Chair) who thinks he’s funnier than he is. Considerably more empathetic than

Dr. Maya (Ito Aghayere), Dr. Frost takes an immediate shine to Carol. Bonnie Dennison will play Jenny, Carol’s big hearted daughter who became a pharmaceutical rep because, as a pretty and charming young woman, it’s an easy job.

MICHAEL ANGARANO & BRIGA HEELAN IN NEW CBS SITCOM
CBS is also bringing back gorgeous Briga Heelan to the world of sitcoms together with Michael Angarano in  TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN a hybrid sitcom which centres on Evan (Angarano) who, with the help of his

group of friends, sets out to accomplish a list of challenges he wrote for himself years ago in an effort to turn around his banal life. Briga will play one of his friends, the entrepreneurial co-owner of  Pittsburgh's coolest pierogi shop.

JANE CURTIN IN UNITED WE FALL
Yet, another of sitcom legends, 3rd Rock From the Sun's Jane Curtin is returning to TV comedies in UNITED WE FALL a profoundly realistic, multicultural sitcom that shows how, when two people, Bill and Jo, with
Jason Michael Snow will play Jane Curtin's other son in the ABC sitcom
young children and overzealous extended families truly love each other, barely anything is possible. Curtin will play Bill’s extremely judgemental mother who joined their house during a health scare till she recovered, but she never left! She makes it her business to tell them everything they do is wrong! Jason Michael Snow will play Bill's cosmopolitan, glamorous brother.

  1. Debts don't make me laugh, but the comical element in Uninsured is provided mainly by the reverse situation by which younger parents have to take care of the older parents. So, laughing it is..

United We Fall with the 'judgemental mother' who was supposed to leave but never left, sounds like a very promising family comedy.

    1. It will probably be hilarious now that they've got Fran, love her to bits! She was such a great part of my youth with The Nanny and I've always loved what she did later on as well. I bet she is popular in Israel as well, as her family in Nanny was hilariously Jewish, especially her mother and grandmother.

    1. imagine if they were in a sitcom together! We will have to pray every day for their pilots to be ordered into series! I missed Jean Luc so much words cannot describe. And Fran is such a living legend, love her privately as well.

    2. While that would be lovely, as least we get two shows to look forward to instead of one. Double the fun and less heartbreak if one gets the ax.

    3. you should follow Fran at Twitter, she is very nice and engaged in many social activities. Tim, her, Bette, Hirsch and Roseanne are the last of living comedy legends.
