Zack Kaplan's comic book will be adapted at Amazon
Kaplan, into TV drama. It tells the story of an alien alliance called The Consortium that has come to Earth with a business proposition: open Earth as a space port for our customers to use and receive advanced technology upgrades in exchange. When rogue aliens break the Port restrictions and wreak havoc in different cities, however, the terms of the deal begin to change. Soon it is up to the Earth Security Agents to send them back to the PORT OF EARTH. With The Consortium representing thousands of alien planets the series delves into political issues of exploitation, occupation, espionage, duplicity, technology and leverage, all in a gritty sci-fi setting.

BBC One has released full trailer for their new epic series GENTLEMAN JACK in which Surrane Jones plays a 19th century woman who dresses up, acts and loves like a man governing her late father's estate. She portrays
Gentleman Jack will air this spring on BBC in eight episodes
 real life person Anne Lister who returns to Halifax, West Yorkshire in 1832, determined to transform the fate of her faded ancestral home Shibden Hall. The cast also includes Joe Armstrong, Gemma Jones and Sophie Rundle. The series will hit HBO in USA April 22nd!

    That's a woman of many dimensions: businsswoman, rebel, lesbian, diarist. She must have been very strong, as society of those times wasn't good to people like her.

    Her hairdo looks rather funny.

  2. You lost me with sci-fi and comic book on the first one. Not my cuppa. Though Gentleman Jack trailer did intrigue me. I agree with Duta though. Her hair is not cute. I'm sure it took them quite some time to get their hair styled quite ridiculously back then.
