   RESISTANCE WW2 FILM WITH
JESSE EISENBERG, ED HARRIS
I don't recall seeing him in period set pieces, but Jesse Eisenberg will lead World War II movie RESISTANCE joined in the cast by Ed Harris, Edgar
Jesse Eisenberg will play the lead role
Ramirez, Clemence Poesy! As Deadline reports, the film based on the inspirational true story of iconic French mime artist Marcel Marceau who worked with the French Resistance to help save the lives of thousands of orphans during the war.
The film will chart how groups of Girl and Boy Scouts created a network to help save children whose parents had been killed by the Nazis. Marceau, an orthodox Jew whose father was killed in Auschwitz, is said to have learned to mime partly in order to help the children escape.
Eisenberg, apparently prepared for a whole year for the role with the help of his own mother who worked before as a clown. Ed Harris will portray General George S. Patton, Poésy will play a central member of the French Resistance!

   HEAD FULL OF HONEY TRAILER
FOR TIL SCHWEIGER'S FILM
The movie should hit NY November 30th
Another deeply touching story can be seen in moving trailer for HEAD FULL OF HONEY, and English language adaptation of German movie of the same name, starring Nick Nolte as  a man suffering from Alzheimer's who embarks on a final road trip with his granddaughter. The rather stellar ensemble movie, which is supposed to hit cinemas at the end of this month, also stars some other partially forgotten 80s stars Matt Dillon, Eric Roberts, Jacqueline Bisset alongside Emily Mortimer, Claire Forlani, Emily Cox and German superstar Til Schweiger who is also directing the film as his 13th directorial effort!

  1. Nolte and Bisset are among my favorite veteran actors. With good acting and the theme of Alzeimer, the movie can't go wrong.
I've had two neighbors mother and daughter (rip) with this condition, so I've seen it close. Terrible experience even for those watching it!

  3. Both look really good. I don't know why, but I am always drawn to stories about Alzheimer's, so I'll for sure be catching A Head Full of Honey.

    1. should be good. I once had a granny pupil who came to classes of English in order to make her brain work. You eat so much coconut oil, dahlink, I'm sure you is safe from Alzheimer :)

    2. It doesn't run in my family and I highly doubt I'll live long enough to ever experience it. But thinking about how scary it must be to not remember your life and loved ones must feel like such a lonely place.

    3. I won't live long enough either, methinks. We shall hang out together in heavens, dahlink!
Yes, being a burden in your old age to your kids is the worst ever thing.
