FINDS PRINCESS OF BURGUNDY
Speaking of epic things, the latest one to join the second season of History's KNIGHTFALL series is Clementine Nicholson. She will play Margaret, Princess of Burgundy, the devoted wife of Prince
Louis of France (Tom
Forbes). Upon joining Louis in Paris and eager to
produce an heir to the French throne, Margaret will discover what life
is really like as a member of the royal family and the future Queen of
France.

KNIGHTFALL follows the legendary Knights Templar, the most powerful,
wealthy and mysterious military order of the Middle Ages who were
entrusted with protecting Christianity’s most precious relics. The first
season ended with the death of the queen of France and Navarre, who
gave birth to a baby with the leader of the Templars (Tom Cullen) with
whom she cheated on her husband king of France (Ed Stoppard). Check out

I don't think I'd like to know what life would be like as a royal family member of any country. So much scrutiny and criticisms, rules and regulations. Clementine Nicholson does have that look about her that makes her perfect for the role though.
ReplyDeleteIt was especially nasty being a royal family member in mediaeval times. You wouldn't believe the plots, the blood, the poison, the treachery.... especially among ladies.... they were very often the main players in the game and did not restrain from using any weapon to gain power. Margaret's sister in law princess Isabella, later on queen Isabella of England, was known as the She Wolf of France and not for good reasons.
