  1. There's something in Olivia Cooke's face, je ne sais quoi, that makes her a good Becky Sharp, that is, a good social climber.

    I like the trailer; it covers a lot: characters, gowns, love, battles. Elicits interest and curiosity about the upcoming serial.

    1. Yes, there is something irritating about her as an actress which is good for the role as Becky is a really nasty human being indeed.

  2. It looks great! I probably would have been a social climber back in those days too. I bore easily and it seems like a game I would have had fun playing.
