Robert Pattinson will be the French Prince!
I must admit this cast has zero charisma to me, but maybe you won't agree. After adding Timothee Chalamet and Joel Edgerton as leads in THE KING movie, Netflix has rounded up the cast with Ben Mendelsohn, Robert Pattinson, Sean Harris and Lily Rose Depp.

David Michôd directs the movie based on Shakespeare plays Henry IV and Henry V which follow a young disgraced prince Hal (Timothee Chalamet) who inherits the crown at a particularly turbulent time in English history and must learn what it means to be a king, guided by his one true friend, Falstaff (Joel Edgerton). The story is set at the time when England  waged the Hundred Year war against France which culminated with the famous 1415 Battle Of Agincourt!

French prince The Dauphin will be played by Robert Pattinson while Ben Mendelsohn will play Hal's daddy King Henry IV!  Johnny's daughter Lily Rose Depp will portray French Princess Catherine, who will later on become
Tom Glynn Carney, Lily Rose Deep and Thomasin Mckenzie
the wife of Henry V! Sean Harris will play a character named William, while Tom Glynn-Carney will be noble rebel Hotspur and Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie will be Henry V’s younger sister Princess Philippa!

  1. I doubt this will dislodge my favourite version of this with Tom Hiddleston as Prince Hal and Jeremy Irons as his father Henry IV.

    1. There is nothing that could ever dislodge me from Hiddles... well maybe Chris Evans or Dicky Madden.... or Henrylicious Cavill...

  2. Zero charisma is right. Me thinks I will be passing on this one.

    1. Amen to that. I never understood why women went crazy for him in the first place. Kind of like Ryan Gosling. What's the friggin' appeal?

    2. both terrible actors as well! But then again some ladies also like Depp... what's the appeal? Frigging gambler, drunkard and smelly dirtbag who beats women!

    3. Hush your mouth! Depp did have that sex appeal going for him back in the 80's. He was the sexy bad boy in Cry Baby and 21 Jump Street that all of the women wanted to bang, and rightfully so because he did have the hotness factor going for him. Admittedly, the drink and drugs have taken a toll on his appearance through the years, though I do still lurv him. The other two though, never had sex appeal. They were just lucky to land leading roles where women projected their characters as the actual person. Gosling and Pattinson never oozed sex appeal. Frankly, I find both rather boring to look at.

    4. Yes, that projection thing plays a massive role in who is popular. Not just here, but also in with whom you will sympathise with in media scandals and such things.

  4. Don't you know that zero charisma is fashionable these days. They say it's because that makes it easier for us to identify with a character. No?
    No.
