MOTHER NATURE IN 'TITAN'
While we are waiting to see her as Tolkien's darling wife next to always charming Nicholas Hoult as the father of the Lord of the Rings, lovely Lily Collins will first have to survive a terrible ordeal and angry Momma Nature!
She will star in Austin Bunn's movie TITAN as Emma, a strong willed
young musician on a quest to understand the life of her environmental
activist older sister, who was killed years before in a tragic fall.
Emma seeks out Justin, a former member of the movement, who reluctantly
agrees to take her to the same remote redwood grove that claimed her
sister. Emma soon finds herself in serious peril, forced to face off
with Mother Nature in a relentless fight for survival.

New sf shows are arriving to Amazon! They will develop series out of
Jonathan Hickman's graphic novels
EAST OF WEST and
TRANS HUMAN! He will produce the shows himself.
EAST OF WEST is set in a Western landscape where America is divided into seven nations. As 'Deadline' reports today, this iconic science fiction series follows “Death” as he braves his fellow riders, monsters, and corrupt gunslingers in his quest to save his mortal family from the Apocalypse.
TRANSHUMAN is a sf drama set in the near future. The story revolves around a divorced couple, who ran rival major corporations, offering humans the ability to genetically and robotically enhance themselves.

Michelle Williams has joined another Oscar winner
Julianne Moore in the North American movie remake of
AFTER THE WEDDING! Bringing a different take on the original Danish movie directed by
Susanne Bier’s this new English language version will have two leading female characters instead of the male ones. The story follows Isabel (
Michelle Williams), who runs a dilapidated orphanage outside of Calcutta, and who travels to New York to meet the New York millionaire (
Julianne Moore) who has provided money for the orphanage. After the millionaire’s wedding to which she was invited, a mystery unravels!
"After the Wedding" sounds intriguing and with two super actresses!

DeleteAmazon can keep their Scifi. Titan and After the Wedding sound interesting to me though. Great lineup of actresses in both of those films.
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda intrigued by East West, the other one not so much, there hasn't been good sf on the telly this year, I've started Krypton but it hasn't thrilled me so far :( It does have tons of hunky hotness, though
