 CBS ORDERS 5 NEW COMEDIES
It's that part of the year when networks are starting to order pilots for potential new multicamera sitcoms, and here's what got ordered this week: CBS will do HISTORY OF THEM about how two friends, Luna (Ana
Lisa Vidal is mother of the family in History of Them
Villafane) and Adam (Brett Dier), meet and fall in love using their social media as a guide! Felix Solis, Lisa Vidal and Amit Shah also star. They've also ordered a pilot for I MOM SO HARD starring Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley, in which two moms illustrate how their friendship gets them through being wives and mothers. CBS has also announced a 13 episode return of MURPHY BROWN with Candice Bergen! Pilot for PANDAS IN NEW YORK follows a family of Indian doctors in New York whotry to arrange their youngest son’s life, unaware he’s made plans of his own. Aaron Kaplan's FAM follows a woman’s younger half-sister who comes to live with her and her fiancé to escape their train wreck of a father.

    1. they have a web series methinks, the sitcom will be based on it, I myself think Friends in Law could have potential with that plot :) History of Them will be very very multicultural. It seems Will and Grace success is returning multicams to the small screens!
