S.U.M.1 (Iwan Rheon) is sent to the surface to save a group of
unprotected survivors. He seems to be almost the only cast member in this
movie. His Inhumans series isn't scoring a huge success over at ABC
currently in its first season.

We are launching our Russian weekend today with the ultra dramatic and deeply atmospheric teaser trailer for new Russian World War II movie SOBIBOR which stars Christopher Lambert, Konstantin Khabenskiy, Phillippe Reinhardt, Wolfgang Cerny and Maximilian Dirr.
SOBIBOR is based on the history of the Sobibór extermination camp
uprising during WWII and Soviet officer Alexander Pechersky. When he was
a POW in Sobibor, he managed to do the impossible - to organize a
revolt and mass escape of the prisoners. Part of the escapees
Rutger Hauer starred in the 1987 movie on Sobibor
were later
caught and died - the rest led by Pechersky managed to escape and
joined the partisans.
DEZZY'S HISTORY LESSON
At least 250,000 Russians and Jews were murdered in gas chambers in SOBIBOR by the Nazis. This number makes it the fourth worst extermination camp from World War II. Out of 600 prisoners who tried to escape in the revolt, only about 50 succeeded. Shortly after the revolt, the Germans closed the camp, bulldozed the earth, and planted it over with pine trees to conceal its location.
Prisoners were killed using gas from the exhaust pipes of a tank engine
Today, the site is occupied by the SOBIBOR Museum, which displays a pyramid of ashes and crushed bones of the victims, collected from the cremation pits.
She was added to this project a few years ago but it seems it is now finally moving with the production, as soon as they find a director: Kate Winslet will star in World War II biopic on war photojournalist Lee Miller.
As 'Deadline' reports the film will tell the story of the brave
photojournalist who made sure the suffering victims inside the Nazi
concentration camps of Dachau and Buchenwald were shown to the world,
prompting an outcry across the globe. As a journalist, she covered the
London Blitz and the liberation of Paris, had a torrid love affair with
photographer Man Ray before venturing out on her own to establish herself as a
photographer and correspondent to be reckoned with. She covered the
first use of napalm and its effects on children and battles throughout
Europe. The movie will be based on her biography The Lives of Lee
Miller, written by her son, Antony Penrose! Kate Winslet got an Oscar
for her role in Reader, another movie about Nazi regime.
Damian Hardung will star in the eight episode series
News from the epic TV series front today as well, starting with the ones coming from Italy, where their national broadcaster RAI will, after scoring major success with Medici saga, venture into adapting Umberto Eco's novel THE NAME OF THE ROSE into TV series. John Turturro and Rupert Everett have already been cast as leads!
The story which was already turned into a Jean Jacques Annaud movie
with Sean Connery, follows William of Baskerville, a 14th century
Franciscan monk, as he investigates a series of unusual deaths at a
remote monastery. John Turturro will take the role of William of
Baskerville, Rupert Everett will be Inquisitor Gui and Damian Hardung
will be William's apprentice, Benedictine novice Adso.
