SOCIAL EXPERIMENTS IN TRAILERS FOR 'THE SQUARE' WITH ELISABETH MOSS, DOMINIC WEST, CLAES BANG, 'REALIVE' SF MOVIE WITH TOM HUGHES

  'THE SQUARE' TRAILER
STARRING ELISABETH MOSS AND DOMINIC WEST
Two indie movies for you today, with rather interesting trailers, starting with THE SQUARE which should arrive into cinemas March
The movie has won this year's Palme d'Or at Cannes
next year starring Elisabeth Moss and Dominic West! Christian (Claes Bang) is the respected curator of a contemporary art museum, a divorced but devoted father of two who drives an electric car and supports good causes. His next show is THE SQUARE an installation which invites passers by to altruism, reminding them of their role as responsible fellow human beings. But sometimes, it is difficult to live up to your own ideals: Christian's foolish response to the theft of his phone drags him into shameful situations. Meanwhile, the museum's PR agency has created an unexpected campaign for  THE SQUARE. The response is overblown and sends Christian, as well as the museum, into an existential crisis.

  'REALIVE' SF TRAILER
TOM HUGHES IS PUT ON ICE!
Would you like to be frozen till some happier times?
There is also a trailer and a new poster for science fiction drama REALIVE which starts its cinematic life from Spain next January starring Victoria's Tom Hughes as  Marc who is diagnosed with a disease and is given one year left to live. Unable to accept his own end, he decides to freeze his body. Sixty years later, in the year 2084, he becomes the first man to be revived in history. It is then he discovers that the love of his life, Naomi (Oona Chaplin), has accompanied him this entire time in a way that he'd never expected.

  1. REALIVE sounds fascinating. Wondering how she accompanied him.

  2. I don't think the first film interests me, but Realive has the potential to be very good.

    1. the first one is interesting in the way that is shows how people are stupid and gullible and snobbish when it comes to arts, I mean he puts a square out there and the whole world goes crazy like it's second coming of Jesus :) I so often think so many of the 'artsy' directors are idiots and also 90% of the fashion designers but yet people stuff themselves silly with their offer.

    2. I agree. We were at the Chicago Museum of Arts and there was a white canvas with just a yellow rectangle on it. Seriously, how tf is that art? Blurry photographs hung on the walls and I thought, well hell, I have about a billion blurry photos. Is that all it takes to get put into such a prestigious museum? And just look at the crap these celebs wear. Like, homeless people dress better than they do sometimes, but heaven forbid Beyonce puts on the ugliest thing in her closet and the whole world freaks out needing to replicate the look. It's insane!

    3. Beyo always looks trashy like a smelly dumpster. Her style is not proportionate to her massive ego and snobbism. I've heard yesterday, Kendal Jenner was proclaimed fashion icon of the decade. Da Eff? She wasn't even born like ten years ago...
