IN THE 9TH CENTURY NOVGOROD
Based on the book by Boris Vasilyev, it is set in the 9th century Novgorod, the last stronghold of the Russian people! Great Rurik, the prince of Novgorod, defends the city and its trade routes from the
enemies that attack from all sides, but he is getting old and is no
longer able to keep the entire trade route under his control. Only
Prince Oleg can unite the scattered tribes and create a powerful state
capable of repelling invaders of all stripes! Russian superstar Vladimir
Yaglych plays the title role.

Quite a good trailer, indeed! I will have to bookmark this one and remember to catch it once it's released.
ReplyDeleteif it ever rides into US cinemas. I hear CATHERINE THE GREAT series is finally available on Amazon, but if you wanna watch it I have a linky dinky where you can watch both season online for free without download with Eng subs :)

Deletehow enchanting! I'm trying to dug out that Russian SOPHIA PALEOLOGA series, somewhere from Torrents, but ain't nobody has it. I'm stuck with VICTORIA, ROYALS, JAMESTOWN, THE DURRELLS and CATHERINE THE GREAT second season currently, before the Autumn kicks off in October, not that there will be much for me in US programmes :( Thank God for ITV and BBC
