ALICIA VIKANDER & ARMIE HAMMER TO HUNT NOCTURNAL MONSTERS IN 'FREAKSHIFT'! CHEERFUL 'THE DURRELLS' TV SERIES WITH KEELEY HAWES SEASON TWO TRAILER

  ARMIE HAMMER
JOINS 'FREAKSHIFT' WITH ALICIA VIKANDER
After she is done chasing after her father as Lara Croft in the reboot of Tomb Raider, Oscar Winner Alicia Vikander will be chasing something a lot more scary and now she has a partner to do it with (not that, you naughty devils). Armie Hammer has joined her in supernatural action thriller horror FREAKSHIFT. The story has envisioned the two of them playing a part of a band of misfit cops who hunt down and kill nocturnal underground monsters! With the shooting set to start this August Armie is ready to play her love interest in the movie. Later this year, Armie will also appear in Final Portrait with Geoffrey Rush, the story of Swiss painter and sculptor Alberto Giacometti.

SECOND SEASON TRAILER TAKES US BACK TO CORFU
With the news that Ovation TV has acquired US TV rights on ITV's WW2 series The Halcyon for the viewers in America, another of ITV's brilliant series THE DURRELLS is set to start with its second season later this month and today you can check out the first trailer for it! The series, which was a huge hit last year, stars Keeley Hawes as a mother who sells everything she has and moves with her four kids to a remote Greek island of Corfu!

OTTERS AND NEW LOVERS
Six new episodes will follow THE DURRELLS as they face new challenges: little Gerald finds an otter close to their home and is looking after it, his brother Leslie explores his entrepreneurial side and embarks on a new project, the oldest brother Larry is balancing his writing career with a new romance, and his sister Margo is falling for someone unsuitable, while mother Louisa gets behind with the rent and gets on the wrong side of the landlady. Daniel Lapaine (Muriels swimmer husband from Muriel's Wedding) has joined the cast as an English gentleman who sets his sight on Louisa.

  1. Freakshift sounds like another version of Netflix's Bright. Hollywood is always be coincidence and copy cat city forever. Oh well.

    2. Something original equals a reboot, a re-imagining or a prequel that's really a rebooted sequel.
