BBC has revealed the first cast photo for their upcoming drama series TO WALK INVISIBLE which takes a new look at Bronte sisters, who, despite the obstacles they faced, came from obscurity to produce some of 
the greatest novels in the English language. Wuthering Heights author Emily Brontë is played by Chloe Pirrie, Jane Eyre author Charlotte by Finn Atkins with their youngest sister Anne played by Charlie 
Murphy. Their brilliant but reckless brother Branwell, whose destructive behaviour threatened to destroy his family, will be played by Adam Nagaitis. Jonathan Pryce plays their father.

The first trailer launched this week is an international one for Werner Herzog's SALT AND FIRE starring Michael Shannon and Gael Garcia Bernal.
A scientist blames the head of a large company for an ecological disaster in South America. But when a volcano begins to show signs of erupting, they must unite to avoid a disaster. The movie, which was shot in just a little bit more than two weeks, is out in German cinemas next month and in French ones from December!
Another Bronte sister's show. Yay? Salt and Bone kind of confuses me. It seems a mixture of environmental issues and some kind of moral pseudo supernatural movie from the trailer. Or it it just a weird vibe I'm getting?

DeleteI am so glad fashion has evolved into sexier and more glam looks since then. Those dresses are hideous! However, I am sure the movie will be entertaining, even with the ugly fashions :)

DeleteI do like it, and if find it very elegant, when it is tied back like that with the split in the middle, but I hated when they would make buns around the ears or make it hang like grapes over them... that was nasty!
DeleteI'm looking forward to the one about the Bronte sisters. I hadn't even heard of Anne (my bad) until I read The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.
