'HOSTILES' WESTERN FILM
WITH CHRISTIAN BALE, BEN FOSTER AND ROSAMUND PIKE
Here's a star studded period set movie for you: Ben Foster is the latest one to join HOSTILES which already has Christian Bale, Rosamund Pike, Wes Studi, Adam Beach, Q’orianka Kilcher, Stephen Lang, Bill Camp, Peter Mullan.
Set in 1892, HOSTILES tells the story of legendary Army Capt. Joseph J. Blocker (Christian Bale), who after stern resistance, begrudgingly agrees to escort a dying Cheyenne war chief, Chief Yellow Hawk (Wes Studi) and his family back to tribal lands. Making the perilous journey from an isolated Army outpost in New Mexico to the grasslands of Montana, the former rivals encounter a young widow (Rosamund Pike), whose family was murdered on the plains. She joins them as they try to overcome the hostile Comanche tribes.

'LIMEHOUSE GOLEM' PHOTOS
BILL NIGHY, DOUGLAS BOOTH, SAM REID, OLIVIA COOKE
Speaking of starstudded casts, check out this one it is truly marvellous: first photos from THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM starring Bill Nighy, Douglas Booth, Sam Reid, Olivia Cooke, Daniel Mays, Eddie Marsan! This Gothic mystery is set in London, 1880. In the dangerous Limehouse district, a series of murders have shaken the community. So monstrous and ruthless are these crimes that the press claim they’re the work of The Golem – a legendary creature from dark times… Confronted by a murderer of a yet unknown kind and with no genuine leads, the police put the vastly experienced Detective Inspector Kildare (Nighy) on the case, a scapegoat for when the next victim surfaces.

    2. It sure seems that way. Right now, everything is in the shitter over here, and sadly, it doesn't look like it's going to ease up any time soon.

  5. Of course when a couple westerns pop up, they're followed by a dozen more in the pipeline. Nothing resurfaces alone in the movie/tv business. Hopefully Westerns don't get overdone vampire status in the next two years. The photos today were very beautiful. Never see enough stories on the golem. Guess it's less exposed since it's harder to 'sex up' unlike vampires. Still love those bloodsuckers but in proper quantities.

  8. A western with Christian Bale in the lead should be decent. Sounds like a good story too.
