TO STAR IN 'SUPERCON'
One of our fave Australian hunks, always ever so dear Ryan Kwanten has two new projects. As 'Deadline' reports he will join John Malkovich and Maggie Grace in SUPERCON about a motley group of comic book artists and former TV stars earning a living working fan conventions who set out to rob a crooked promoter and an overbearing former TV icon.
AND IN 'CATEGORY 5'
It is interesting that he will also star with Maggie Grace in Rob Cohen's CATEGORY 5! As 'E!' writes, it follows a team of hackers embarking on a high stakes robbery from a coastal U.S. mint facility, hoping to make off with $600 million. The action comes in full when a CATEGORY 5 hurricane hits the coastal town and forces the inhabitants to flee or seek shelter. In the midst of the natural disaster a meteorologist (Toby Kebbell), his brother (Ryan Kwanten), and a treasury agent (Maggie Grace) must team up to stop the heist from becoming a reality.

Meanwhile, a rather weird, but yet strangely delightful trailer has been released for lavish CGI rich Chinese epic fantasy adventure movie LEAGUE OF GODS starring Jet Li, Tony Leung, Bingbing Fan and always lovely Angelababy which is out this July in cinemas around the world including UK, USA, Canada and Australia!
Based on the 16th century Chinese novel Feng Shen Yan Yi (The Investiture of the Gods), the story tells of how King Zhou of Shang becomes a tyrant due to the wiles of Daji, a vixen spirit who is disguised as one of his concubines.
Nothing wrong with a little flying Chinese chop sokey movie!

DeleteMr. Kwanten reminds me of another handsome Ryan- the uber hot Ryan Reynolds. Good thing I have a son named Ryan as well. Hope he turns out half as cute.
