  1. I loved The Dark Tower series. Best thing King ever wrote. And I adore Idris Elba, so sexy and I think he can play that character.

    1. they say the film will stray away from it, some even say it won't follow the book but will be its continuation, King has confirmed himself that it is not entirely as the book :)

    2. Oh shit, that figures. Take something I love and completely fuck it up. Just like they did with The Hobbit. I won't watch it as it will just piss me off.

    3. Hobbit was a very boring affair, even with my biggest loves Thranduil and Bard the Bowman.... It just did not have the exciting and perfect storytelling and captivating narrative of LOTR. I knew it would be like that since them pesky lil hobbitses are boring as hell.... I mean who could watch boring dwarves for three hours straight?

  5. I loved The Dark Tower series. I read 2 or 3 books from it. I can't imagine anyone other than Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman from watching the series as a kid.

    1. it remains to be seen what the audience will say to Gal Gadot, although I though think it could be the most massive hit evah!

  7. I know that most Super Hero buffs were not that happy about the Wonder Woman casting, but I actually like her! I'll totally be watching that gorgeous lady kick some bad guy butt. :)

  9. I wonder if I can convince Mariah that spending her 18th birthday watching Wonder Woman would be a fantastic idea. Probably not :(

I love Stephen King, but have yet to read the Dark Tower books. I know there was a lot of backlash over Idris playing the main character. I think he's pretty sexy, but if I were a fan of the books, I'd probably be upset to hear they didn't stick to the true looks of the character.

    1. One might always dream :) You could ask Jason to take you, it is WW after all...

I've never understood Idris' appeal, never, hope he ain't da new Bond

    2. I'm sure he'll take me the day after, but seeing it opens on Mariah's 18th birthday, it's a no go on opening day.

I hated, HATED! The WIRE, but though Idris was one of the only good looking characters that kept me watching. Though, he needs to learn how to kiss better. He always looked like he was slobbering all over and suffocating his lady when kissing her. It was just gross.

    3. at least you will avoid the rush!
Ewwwww... Idris slobbering... ewww.... I wouldn't let him touch me with a stick..

  10. Will want to see Wonder Woman. Have not read The Dark Tower books but since this movie is set as a sequel to the series. I'm a bit leery after being initially excited about a King adaptation. Definitely plan to see Rogue One a.k.a. Star Wars Gritty.

  11. Oh crap, crap, double crap. Not again that f-ing Chris Pine! Can't I just edit him out? He ruined Star Trek for me and now he's in Wonder Woman too? Harrrrrrrrrrrr

    1. didn't know you didn't like him. He was obnoxious in STAR TREK but I thought that was just his character.... Kirk was always idiotic to me... I much prefer the rest of the cast and the characters
