FINAL 'STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS' TRAILER RELEASED WITH OSCAR ISAAC, DAISY RIDLEY, DOMHNALL GLEESON, HARRISON FORD!

FINAL TRAILER RELEASED FOR
'STAR WARS: FORCE AWAKENS'
As you probably know by now, Disney has released the final STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS trailer today marking the start of the ticket sales (and the crash of the internet for that matter) for the movie which is out December 17th, continuing the Star Wars saga where 'Return of the Jedi' left off, with Luke Skywalker who aims to restore the Jedi Order while Leia and Han Solo work with the New Republic against the remnants of the Galactic Empire and a new potential threat. The war is still raging across the galaxy. The Empire has morphed into The First Order.
THE FORCE IS WITH THEM
Oscar Isaac plays Poe Dameron who flies an X-Wing for a splinter group of the Rebellion now known as The Resistance. Other villains in the new movie include Domhnall Gleeson's General Hux, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma and Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke. John Boyega and Daisy Ridley join Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron as new heroes Finn and Rey! Original stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are all returning. Lupita Nyong’o and Max Von Sydow also star.

  1. I'm not a big Star Wars fan. The only movie in the series that I've watched completely is the original one. I'll go to this one, though, simply because the original stars are in it and I like them.

    1. I'm with you, Debs, I don't get the obsession. The first three were cheesy, poorly acted movies, the latest three ones were just atrocious.. so what's the buzz, especially with this new cast being so boring and lacking in any charisma

    2. I think it's all about how/when you experienced it, Dez. I grew up watching Star Wars on my aunt's old laserdisc player and collected all of the toys. I grew up with the original three movies, and remember lining up for hours to see all three back-to-back-to-back when Jedi came out. I still love watching them because they remind me of being a kid, and I can still tap into that childish sense of awe and wonder.

The prequels, however, did nothing for me - and I know part of that is age, appreciation, and expectations. I'm cautiously optimistic about the new movies, but mostly because I can watch my little guy grow up with them, and I can enjoy them through his eyes.

    3. That is what I thought too, Bob! Our national TV didn't air STAR WARS movie here back when we were kids so I don't have that emotional bond with it.
Hope your kid will like the new one!

  3. I hope my daughter doesn't think we are taking her to the premiere week of this film. It's going to be nuts. Some of our theaters are taking out all other movies and are only playing Star Wars on all of their screens.

    1. it will be absolute madness over there, methinks :) They say millions of people wanted to order the tickets and that is why some of the sites crashed.

    2. Yep, they crashed a few sites with their orders! I just don't get they hype. No movie has ever made me go nuts enough to rush for presale tickets. I usually wait a month for the crowds to die down before going. I hate a packed theater and don't want strangers sitting by me!

  7. People here in the U.S. were buying their tickets to the Star Wars movie yesterday (online). It comes out right before Christmas, but they're determined to have their tickets! I wonder if this will stop people from camping out at theaters?

  9. I can't say I'm much of a Star Wars fan either, though I do remember as a kid waiting in a line around the block to get in to see the first movie. Fun to see the original stars making an appearance in this one. :)

  12. I think I'm the only person on earth who has never seen any Star Wars movie. I just have no interest. Although one year for the prom I did try to do the Princess Leia hair. LOL

    1. Girl, I've never seen one either. I have zero interest in it. Although, I was forced once to watch Space Balls on a coach bus. Does that count for anything? And lmao @ the princess Leia hair!!

    2. I watched the newer ones... all horrible... and some of the old ones... one big nothing that is what it is. I agree with Pierce Morgan on what he said about it yesterday
