Deadline reports today that Mike Vukadinovic has been set to write the adaptation of FORGIVE ME, LEONARD PEACOCK, a Matthew Quick's 
YA novel which revolves around a high school student who plans to kill his best friend and then himself. It is supposed to become Channing Tatum's directorial debut! He would also play a brave teacher who tries to intervene!

ReplyDeleteyep, we mentioned him a year or two ago when he was playing a prince in the pilot for SELECTION YA adaptation which never got into series later on.

DeleteAnd AVATAR was Dances With Wolves meets The White Dragon. Channing's movie seems interesting; not the typical YA theme, which seriously makes me gag.
ReplyDeleteyes, YA seems to branching lately into other topics... they've milked dystopia and all possible illnesses and now it's probably sexual freedoms and this and I think we will be seeing transgender and crossdressing YA novels too a lot
DeleteMarcia is in a TV show, Code Black. I think it is getting good review. Channing looks like he lost weight.
