  3. I hung in there as long as I could on Poldark, but I got bored pretty quickly with the story and characters. Not even those good looks of his were enough to keep me watching. But, hmmm, may have to check out this new Beowulf show. :))

    1. Nooooo! I rather loved the series, especially the actors.. and how it was kinda old fashioned without brutality and such nonsense. But I did watch all 8 episodes in week and a half, one each evening.
I reckon you will find INDIAN SUMMERS boring too. But I liked them as well. Not as much as BANISHED though, that is my fave show of the year

    2. It's true, I do better with a series if I can watch the whole thing back to back. Waiting a week to find out what happens next doesn't always work for me anymore. Damn digital age! Maybe when it's released on Netflix, I'll try and catch the episodes I missed.

I'm going to start with Crimson Fields tonight. I'll be out of town tomorrow and will stop in when I return.

  6. I was worried I would grow bored with Poldark also. I will wait for it to hit Netflix, then will watch back to back. Like LG, I just hate waiting a whole week for a new episode to start. I think Netflix has the right idea introducing a whole series at a time. Keeps me interested longer.

    1. that is how I watch all my British shows. I follow US ones an episode a week as they roll over the season, but usually keep the British ones for watching over the week, an episode a night. It usually takes a bit longer for them to appear at Torrents.
I didn't find POLDARK boring at all because it was so visually beautiful and had the right relaxing atmosphere... and plus the actors are really genuine
