HUGH JACKMAN TO PLAY THE LEGENDARY ADVENTURER IN 'THE ODYSSEY? STUNNING 'EMPIRE' 'STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKENS' COVERS WITH HEROES AND VILLAINS! DANTE'S INFERNO GETTING A MOVIE

  HUGH JACKMAN TO
GO ON AN 'ODYSSEY'!
Now colour me super ubber hyper interested: Hugh Jackman in skirt and sandals in Homer's ODYSSEY! Australian hunk is negotiating around the lead role in Lionsgate's epic adventure based on the famous epic poem. I've already announced earlier this year that HUNGER GAMES' Francis Lawrence is directing and that it is a potential franchise. As you know the ancient story follows the adventures of the famous Ithacan hero who's voyage home from the Trojan war last almost a decade thanks to all kinds of mythical difficulties while his wife Penelope and son Telemachus are trying to save his throne.
DANTE'S INFERNO MOVIE
Speaking of old epics, it was also announced yesterday that Dante's Inferno will be getting its own movie too in which Dante himself will travel through the nine levels of hell to save the woman he loves.

  NEW 'EMPIRE' COVERS SHOW
'STAR WARS' THE FORCE AWAKENS' HEROES AND VILLAINS
Your visual treat for today are brand new EMPIRE covers with STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS covers. One cover is for the heroes: John Boyega as renegade Stormtrooper Finn, Daisy Ridley as the scavenger Rey, and Oscar Isaac as X-wing pilot Poe Dameron, while the other cover shows  the baddies Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren and Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux all members of The New Order!

  3. Hugh Jackman in Greek garb-yeah baby! I'm tingling at the mere thought of it.

Dante's Inferno-ooooh that could be good or it could be dreadful. Depends on who does it and who they cast.

I hate Star Wars darling. I saw the first one, thought it was cute but kind of childish. No substance at all, just silly teenybopper sci-fi. And guess what? The damn thing caught on. It was the Harry Plopper of my younger days dear.

    1. We shall most likely see him shirtless too in the waters of Aegean sea, dear :)

I don't understand the jedi obsession either, dear, it was such a cheesey movie and even the actors were dreadful and these new ones are so boring I fall asleep every time I read the cast list.... where did they pick them?

    2. I didn't understand it at first until I learned that they made toys of all those characters and put them in the kiddies McDonald Happy Meal things. And they made action figures and all the kids got them for Christmas. That whole generation of Americans have the idea the movie was good. What really happened was that they were spoilt by their parents. Now they associate the happiness of toys with that damn movie. And the rest of the intelligent world has been doomed since.

    3. I've just recently seen an article on a dad who made a miniature flying thingy from STAR WARS and put his baby gurl on it so that she could ride it, it was so ridiculus, not just because he actually made the toy for himself and not really for her, but also because it was pointed and sharp and very much dangerous and could easily pierce the kid. And he thought taking a photo of it with his baby sitting on it would be a cool Facebook meme and he would be a cool dad. Yea, right... Everything in USA is about money and selling. They remember their childhoods by bought toys and bought video games... while I remember it for books, or for spending time in the nature with my animals.

    4. What an arse. I'm hardly surprised, these people are fecking insane.

Ya, it's all about money and "things". I was like you, hadn't a pot to piss in. I spent my time out of doors or with my nose stuck in a book. I hate it here and I hate most of the people too. Idiots!

    5. you do know I understand your pain, Annzie, and feel for you. Sometimes when I see all the things that people over there have in their homes and in their shops I just feel it's pure heaven that I couldn't even imagine in million years... but then when I think of your situation and what you go through I just know it could be pure hell too.
I find myself reading comments at Daily People from people in UK and at some other pages from US papers... and their comments just leave you flabbergasted.... that difference in the way we think... the difference in the depth or shallowness of it.... all about the humans vs all about the money and current satisfaction.

  6. I'd be interested in seeing what Hugh Jackman could do. I've seen some good and bad. Also, Dante's Inferno? Awesome.

I'll be quite candid in saying I intentionally ignored the Star Wars stuff though so I can be surprised when I see the movie.
