AARON JOHNSON JOINS AMY ADAMS AND JAKE GYLLENHAAL
One of Hollywood's most anticipated films, fashion designer Tom Ford's second directorial project NOCTURNAL ANIMALS (after 2009's A SINGLE MAN with Colin Firth and Matthew Goode) is adding new actors to the cast! According to 'Variety' Aaron Johnson and Michael Shannon have joined Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal who are in the lead roles. The big screen adaptation of Austin Wright’s novel follows a woman (Amy Adams) who receives a book manuscript from her ex-husband, who she left 20 years earlier, asking for her opinion. The second part of the story revolves around a man (Jake Gyllenhaal) whose family vacation turns violent with Shannon playing a detective investigating the violent incident while Johnson plays a mysterious figure who may pose a threat to the family.

Amazon has released the first, rather gorgeous, trailer for their historical adventure series CASANOVA which will air its first episode today, August 7th! Directed by Jean Pierre Jeunet (Amelie), the
series stars Diego Luna in the title role, Serbian actress Bojana Novakovic as Madame Pompadour, Miranda Richardson as Marquesa d’Urfé, James Flynn as King Louis XV and Ben Daniels.

Venice, Giacomo Casanova flees to Paris at the dawn of the 
Enlightenment in hopes of putting his reputation behind him. But old

Amy Adams is definately one of girl crushes. Did you know she played a small role on Smallville?? I eeped REAL loud when I saw that. Lol

ReplyDeleteI also wasn't interested when I saw the casting for the lead role and the first photos, but Jeneut is such a visual genius and I was blown away by the trailer... a friend who watched the episode last night says it's brilliant
