  1. I was worried what the Star Wars trailer would look like, but I quite enjoyed it. It had a classic Star Wars feel, hardly any lens flares (LOL), and as much as people are complaining about it, I love that new lightsaber.

    1. I'm with the people :) It didn't leave me amazed, and I really wasn't wowed by the actors, as somebody said over at YouTube they look more suited for DR WHO or some similarly cheap series like that not for an extremely expensive epic movie

  2. You know, I have never seen Star Wars. Well, I take that back. They have those little fuzzy Ewoks, right? I vaguely remember catching some of it from when I was like 4 and my parents had it on tv. Mariah's boyfriend is a big fan though and has made her watch them all, so maybe I'll treat them to the new one.

    1. you didn't miss much, sister, it's a rather trashy sf saga, with horrid acting and childishly mediocre stories :) Fuzzy creatures really are the better part of it :)

    2. I tried to watch the newer ones with Natalie Portman as the queen. I fell asleep about 10 minutes into it and never went back to see what I missed. Thankfully, it sounds like not much :)

    3. her horrid acting is one of the worst parts of the film, even Hayden was better than her. Not to mention that it had some really annoying creatures such as Jar Jar Binx and some others

    4. There can only be.... three: IV, V, and VI. Think about it.

    1. Yes. And I'm still hoping for snow, Dezmond. Any chance of a sprinkling for when I visit next time???? :)

    2. I might put it on this weekend, but I have to test it, if it slows the page down, the snow is a no :)
We're expecting first real snow here on Monday.

  5. I wonder if the red costume is more revealing than the blue?
Did you notice the droid that resembles a soccer ball?

  6. I'll watch The Woman in Red for sure. The trial must have been brutal for her with such a powerful husband. She will have certainly been lambasted by the press of the day and I wonder how her friends treated her. I wonder if her social circle turned their backs on her or if some were sympathetic to her.

I'm not a fan of Star Wars to begin with and I do think the trailer looked a bit cheap.

    1. Well, she did cheat on him with his best friend.... that is quite brutal.

I didn't like the trailer either, it looked like some cheap TV show teaser

    2. But was the husband a bad guy? Was he abusive and horrid to her? That's what I'm assuming, but I could be wrong.

    3. or was she just an 18th century Anna Karenina :) a flimsy superficial tart who had no values and depth and who hurt her family by running away with another man!

  7. I really liked the trailer. I can't wait to see the movie!

  9. The new sith lightsaber is just like the laser sword of Henry Touchdown in a video game called No More Heroes which was inspired by Star Wars and anime

  11. My household is geeking out over the trailer. We even have a Star Wars Christmas tree!

  12. Is it just me or did the start of that trailer make anyone else think token black guy? I think the droid should have started the trailer. It looked cool. The trailer is pretty good though.
