'JUPITER ASCENDING' TRAILER
POSTERS WITH CHANNING TATUM, MILA KUNIS, EDDIE REDMAYNE
A sf treat for you today -  mindblowing new posters and a new international trailer for epic sf movie JUPITER ASCENDING which has been moved onto February 6, 2015 opening date. With a stellar cast including Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Eddie Redmayne, Sean Bean, James D'Arcy, Douglas Booth, it follows Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis), who was born under a night sky, with signs predicting she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people’s houses. Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along — her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

'EAT, SLEEP, POOP' BOOK
TO BECOME NBC SITCOM!
In TV news, beside the info that SyFy has renewed DOMINION and DEFIANCE, and that OUTLANDER will return to Starz in April, NBC will develop Dr. Scott W. Cohen's book EAT, SLEEP, POOP: A COMMON SENSE GUIDE TO YOUR BABY'S FIRST YEAR into a half hour comedy series! The story will revolve around a celebrity paediatrician who is top of the line and revered at work but is not as good practising what he preaches with his wife and kids at home!

'STRETCH' TRAILER
PATRICK WILSON AND CHRIS PINE
The second trailer for you today is for STRETCH starring Patrick Wilson, Chris Pine, Ed Helms and Jessica Alba. Instead of a cinematic release, the movie will appear on Amazon on October 7th with Patrick Wilson playing a downtrodden man taking on a job as a limo driver to earn some extra money, where he picks up an eccentric millionaire (Chris Pine), who puts him through hell and back.

    1. I hope it scores success since it looks so epic and beautiful... but I'm not an optimist.... it has no marketing....

    1. I've found myself deeply enjoying sitcoms with babies recently even though I don't like babies :)

  6. I feel like we have been hearing about Jupiter Ascending for quite some time. Hurry up and get it in theaters already! Though, yes, the posters are fabulous!

I am glad to hear Outlander is returning. It started off slow, but its really grown on my the last few episodes.

    1. yep, that is partly because I often announce projects years ahead :) and partly because it was delayed a few times.

I just watched the seventh, wedding, episode of OUTLANDER and was a bit taken back with how there was no sexiness in an episode consisting of only sex :) The lead actress is just too cold and unappealing and has no chemistry with Sam Heughan so there were no sparks nor fireworks in their wedding bedroom... And even that episode had such a shocking lack of dynamics.... I'm still watching... but it ain't a good show as it could have been... I like the music though....

    2. I am only 5 in, so I guess I won't expect too much out of the 7th then. I have had a few issues with her coldness too. Maybe she'll outgrow some of that in the next season.

    3. hopefully, but I'm not nurturing any hopes :)

    1. BABY DADDY of course, and GUYS WITH KIDS (which, sadly, had only one episode)...

    2. Only one? Yikes.

I love Raising Hope. Tim and I both get a kick out of that one.

    3. sorry, not one episode, but one season of 14 or episodes... and I loved each of them....

    4. Ohhhhh. Makes sense.

We're groovin' on Raising Hope and they're soon to add another series to the already three, to Netflix. Woohoo.

You're my last stop for right now. Off to wrap dough around meats and cheeses.

Have a groovy night and boogie boogie.

    5. We've had RAISING HOPE on cable here... but that kind of humour isn't my cup of funny tea... And then there are also some sitcoms extremely popular in USA, such as HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER or BING BANG THEORY or MODERN FAMILY... which I never grew to like even though I tried...

  8. I wonder if Jupiter will take a trip to Jupiter?

  10. Okay. I admit I squeeed a little while watching that trailer for Jupiter Ascending. So it's a series rather than a film?
