FANTASTIC FOUR REBOOT
EDDIE REDMAYNE, DOMHNALL GLEESON, SAM RILEY, TOBY KEBBEL FOR DOCTOR DOOM ROLE
One of the superhero reboots that already seems doomed due to rather strange casting choices so far, FANTASTIC FOUR, has brought down the
list of potential actors for Doctor Doom role to four young stars. Eddie Redmayne (LES MISERABLES), Domhnall Gleeson (ABOUT TIME), Sam Riley (MALEFICENT) and Toby Kebbell (WRATH OF THE TITANS) are in the run. One of them will join the rather unappealing cast which already includes Michael B. Jordan as The Human Torch, Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as The Invisible Woman and Jamie Bell as The Thing. The movie is set for June next year.

The $10 million series will feature more than 100 characters will bring a harder take on
British history, less soapy from what we've seen in TUDORS and WHITE
QUEEN, and the story will follow the meteoric rise of Cromwell in the
Tudor court, from his lowly start as the son of a blacksmith to becoming
King Henry VIII’s closest advisor.

Here's an interesting trailer for you. Set to premier April 11th HATESHIP LOVESHIP stars Guy Pearce, Nick Nolte, Hailee Steinfeld and Kristen Wiig. The story of the drama revolves around an awkward, profoundly shy and unadorned housekeeper (Kristen Wiig) who becomes the victim of a practical joke by a callous teenager (Hailee Steinfeld). However, the joke may have the unexpected effect of finally helping the woman out of her shell. Nolte plays the girls grandfather and Guy Pearce is her dad, a hapless recovering drug addict with a certain ragged charm!

ReplyDeleteSerbian version of MY KITCHEN, MY RULES is currently airing in my country so I'm watching that booing and hissing on the jury :)
DeleteOkay, I will check that one and see if it's available on YouTube. I sometimes enjoy different languages, because the food still speaks universal.
Deleteit probably isn't on YouTube :) but you wouldn't like it anyway... the contestants are mostly amateurs who cook utter rubbish :) Last night the contestants were two fat gypsies who were hilarious.
DeleteI did find and watch My Kitchen Rules but I forget now from what country. Then I watched MasterChef UK and MasterChef Romania. And also today, Food Safari Hungarian.
DeleteI've heard that Master Chef Croatia started today too. We don't have it here in Serbia. We are often very late in getting those franchises. We're having X FACTOR for the first time this year here :(

DeleteI found MasterChef Croatia on YouTube. I started one to see what it was about and I saw someone do a cartwheel in the kitchen.

I think their new season has started just this week. I don't have the channel where it is on, I prefer their rival channel which had that baking competition that I mentioned to you earlier this winter.

DeleteI don't have TV, so I am not sure what's out there. Everything I watch is on YouTube, NetFlix or Amazon Instants.
DeleteThough I am amazed at how many different countries will have the same cookery/bake shows. Makes it a great deal of fun for me, seeing so many different cooks and bakers.
PS: About to put in my next batch of test batch beans. So excited.
Deleteit's especially interesting here since after the fall of Yugoslavia we have six independent states which often have each their own versions of those shows and I can watch all of them on cable :) I've watched at least five or six versions of that DINNER FOR 5 or GUESS WHO IS COMING TO DINNER show :)

DeleteI watch more British cookery shows than US ones. Actually, I watch any country that will let me watch it on YouTube. Some have theirs removed, others don't.

DeleteOh, Dezzy, that movie Hateship Friendship brought out my inner NYer. I wanted to haul of and slap those two teenage girls. Violent, I know. But, ugh, they made me so angry. I'm happy to see Wiig in a challenging role like this. Can't wait for this one!
