JOHN CONNOR IN 'TERMINATOR 5'?
Only a few days ago your trusted spy has informed you that GAME OF THRONES Emilia Clarke and actor Garret Hedlund are in line to play Sarah Connor and John Connor's father Kyle Reese in TERMINATOR 5, and now the word around Tinseltown is that Tom Hardy is the frontrunner to play John Connor! He is apparently the favourite choice of THOR THE DARK WORLD director Alan Taylor who is helming TERMINATOR 5 too! Earlier this year, we
reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger (in a story that would take place
after the WWII), might be playing a human sent back to protect Sarah
Connor's parents, before she was even born, causing the machines to
create future Terminators in his likeness! As you know, Tom Hardy is playing another 80's action hero in MAD MAX remake!

After yesterday's news that GIRLS star Adam Driver is the frontrunner to play Nightwing in SUPERMAN VS BATMAN, there are now new reports that GOSSIP GIRL star Penn Badgley and young actor Ezra Miller have also auditioned for the role of Batman's former sidekick Robin who went his separate way in order to become a new vigilante called Nightwing. Zack Snyder is again directing with Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Diane Lane as Martha Kent. The film hits cinemas summer 2015. There
are also stories that Batman's suit won't
be armour-like but very new and original faithful to one of his comic book appearances.

FREIDA PINTO IS
DESERT DANCER!
Gorgeous (but not so talented, as we have seen her rather expressionless
acting in SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, IMMORTALS and DAY OF THE FALCON) Freida
Pinto is playing one of the lead roles in DESERT DANCER which has just
been sold to Relativity Media for North American distribution. The drama
is based on the true story of Afshin Ghaffarian (played by Reece
Ritchie), who dreams of becoming a dancer in Iran, where dancing is
strictly forbidden. The story is set in 2009, against the backdrop of
protests that sparked a movement towards more personal freedoms in the
country. The movie also stars Tom Cullen.

DeleteHmm, still not sold on the Batman vs Superman idea, but Nightwing is an interesting addition. Let's hope they do the story justice.

DeleteWhen a movie has the number 5 after it, I think it's time to hang it up and do something original. Is that a bathtub Mr. Badgley is lying in? If so, I sure would like to soap him up!

DeleteRobin without Batman? How can that be? That'd be like gravy without the mashed potatoes. "Desert Dancer" sounds good, though. Even if Freida can't act. Hopefully, she can dance.
