JAVIER BARDEM TO PLAY CAPTAIN BLACKBEARD IN NEW PETER 'PAN' MOVIE! TRAILER FOR MEDIEVAL EPIC MOVIE 'ADORMIDERA'! SOUTH AFRICAN TRIGGERFISH STUDIOS DEVELOPING 'HERE BE MONSTERS' AND 'SEAL TEAM' ANIMATED MOVIES

JAVIER BARDEM IS
CAPTAIN BLACK BEARD IN 'PAN'
After playing a villain in 007 movie SKYFALL, Javier Bardem will again take a role of a negative bully in PAN! Warner Bros' origin story of famous Peter Pan will be directed by Joe Wright (ATONEMENT, ANNA KARENINA) and will be based on J.M. Barrie's classic tale following orphan boy Peter, who is taken for the first time to the magical world of Neverland, where he joins the natives, leading them in a rebellion against a group of evil pirates. Javier Bardem will not be playing Captain Cook but he will still have his own ship as Blackbeard another naughty captain of a pirate ship!

TRIGGERFISH DEVELOPING
HERE BE MONSTERS & SEAL TEAM ANIMATED MOVIES
And great news from our dear friends from South African animation studio TRIGGERFISH! After scoring huge success with their worldwide animated hits ZAMBEZIA and KHUMBA, they now plan to release one movie a year starting in 2016. Currently in development is HERE BE MONSTERS, written by Raffaella Delle Donne, which revolves around a boy and a sea monster, marking the studio's first foray into animating human characters! Their next movie will be SEAL TEAM described as an action-comedy that pits a group of seals against the great white sharks of South Africa.

ADORMIDERA
 MEDIEVAL EPIC ADVENTURE
Your Monday trailer comes from Malta presenting the first epic movie to be produced at the Mediterranean island. ADORMIDERA follows a group of five medieval soldiers who journey back from battle tired and hungry and suddenly encounter something particularly strange that will change their destiny forever... They come across a fortress belonging to a lord they're acquainted with. They decide to approach the gates to request food and lodging for the night. Inside the fort they witness something particularly strange, and whilst four of the soldiers decide to ignore it, Tristan just can't help getting himself involved. The film stars Malta's very own Andrei Claude, Audrey Harrison and Henry Zammit Cordina, featuring special guest star Joseph Calleja, and British actress Lori MacFadyen.

  1. It's cool to see things coming from other countries. Thanks for sharing those.

I loved the trailer for Noah (I know it's not in your post, but...)

    1. I always try to cover worldwide movies too, whenever I can and readers seem to count on the spy to inform them about things that go on outside Hollywood too :)

Yep, spoke about NOAH last week in one of our earlier posts.

  2. Hey Dezzy - I like the simple white. Is your washer another color?

PS: 15 free body washes last night. Mango.

    1. I don't have a dish washer... mostly too expensive here and most of our small kitchens don't have space for it :) If you're speaking about laundry machine, they are always white too here.

    2. Wilma is a clothes washer, we don't have a dish washer here, either. Our kitchen isn't set up for it.

There are colored clothes washers on the market but I like simple white.

    3. I've seen silver ones, methinks, and a few of the coloured fridges... They can look nice if your whole kitchen is in the same colour :)

    4. lol, so true. And then what if the kitchen got repainted? Oy. I just like the white. Though I guess the silver isn't bad in the fridges. I hear they are murder to keep clean. But that's all I've heard.

Anyway, have a groovy rest of your week.

      Cheers and boogie boogie.

    5. I might get a silver one one day when I become rich since I'd like my kitchen to be minimalistic and easy to clean.

    1. my thought exactly... one of the weakest trailers I've seen recently... which doesn't mean the film is no good, just that the trailer is confusing, unfocused, vague and not exciting
