JACKIE CHAN IN 'SKIPTRACE'
In short movie news, comedy action SKIPTRACE, which already has Jackie Chan and Bingbing Fan in the lead roles, has just added Seann William Scott to the cast as well. Based on Jackie Chan's idea the film follows Hong Kong detective Bennie Black who has been searching for crime boss Victor Wong for ten years. His search escalates when his young niece Bai (Bingbing Fan) gets herself into trouble with the crime syndicate, forcing him to call on an American Gambler named Connor Watts (Seann William Scott) to help him in his search. The producers are counting on the comedic chemistry between Chan and Seann.

TOM HARDY IS ELTON JOHN
Meanwhile, the latest news say that Tom Hardy has taken the lead role in ROCKETMAN, the biographical movie about Elton John! It was previously revealed that Elton John has imagined his biopic in MOULIN ROUGE movie style, with visual splendour and tones of his greatest hits which he will be rerecording for this occasion. Hardy is an extremely versatile actor, and it will be interesting to see how he switches from his upcoming MAD MAX role to playing a gay singer of tender love songs with extremely eccentric fashion style. Justin Timberlake was the previous candidate for the role and he even played Elton in one of his videos.
LOST FOR WORDS TRAILER
SEAN FARIS & GRACE HUANG
And the only clip I have for you today is the trailer for touching and sensual romantic drama LOST FOR WORDS, a Chinese film which is currently playing in US cinemas too. The multi-lingual, cross-cultural production stars Sean Faris (Never Back Down), Grace Huang (The Man With The Iron Fists), Will Yun Lee (The Wolverine, Hawaii Five-0), Terence Yin (Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life) and Hong Kong actress Joman Chiang (Fog, The Drunkard). Amid the sweeping cityscape of cosmopolitan Hong Kong, Michael Vance (Sean Faris), a decorated ex-Marine meets Anna Zhou (Grace Huang), a dancer from Beijing. Against mounting cultural and religious pressure, the star-crossed lovers risk it all in pursuit of true love!
I know the name Elton John, but after that, I'm out.
