KIT HARINGTON TO BE SCANTILY CLAD IN "POMPEII" HISTORICAL EPIC! GUILLERMO DEL TORO WANTS BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH FOR "FRANKENSTEIN"! FIRST "BURTON AND TAYLOR" TRAILER WITH HELENA BONHAM CARTER & DOMINIC WEST

  KIT HARINGTON TO BE
 SCANTILY CLAD IN "POMPEII" EPIC
And here's an interesting info for all of you who like Kit Harington: speaking to Access Hollywood he said that unlike his role of John Snow in morbid GAME OF THRONES in which he is covered in furs from head to toes, in his upcoming epic movie POMPEII he will be mostly scantily clad and barechested :) But similarly to his TV role his first lead role in a movie will also see him using swords and fighting a lot. Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, POMPEII, set in the days leading up to the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, will follow a slave on a ship heading for Naples who works to get home to save the woman he loves and his best friend, a gladiator trapped inside the city's coliseum. Joining Kit Harington in the cast are Emily Browning, Kiefer Sutherland, Carrie Anne Moss, Jared Harris, Paz Vega!

  BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH IN
 GUILLERMO DEL TORO'S FRANKENSTEIN?
As if I, FRANKENSTEIN with Aaron Eckhart coming to cinemas next January and FRANKENSTEIN with Daniel Radcliffe as Igor weren't enough Guillermo del Toro now also wants to do a film on the famous monster. Speaking to The Daily Telegraph he revealed that he has been working on the movie adaptation of famous Mary Shelley novel since 2009. He also revealed that he would love to see STAR TREK and SHERLOCK star Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role. It is interesting that Cumberbatch already played both the monster and Doctor FRANKENSTEIN in theatre.

  BURTON & TAYLOR TRAILER
HELENA BONHAM CARTER AND DOMINIC WEST
And to end our British day at HOLLYWOOD SPY, here's the first trailer for BURTON AND TAYLOR, new BBC television movie in which Dominic West and Helena Bonham Carter play famous acting couple Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor! The movie will focus on their volatile relationship during their ill-fated appearance in the 1983 revival of Noel Coward's "Private Lives"!The movie will air later this year at BBC Four and at BBC America!

  2. Burton and Taylor sounds good. That was some crazy relationship between those two and the stuff of legends. When I was little I wanted eyes like Liz's.

    1. crazy relationship usually happens between crazy people :) She did have lovely eyes, but I never really liked her as an actress. There wasn't much depth in her acting, mostly acting like a diva.... She was kinda like Angelina or Lopez today....

    2. No, she wasn't a good actress, it was all in those violet eyes. And she was a nutter, but the story was in all the gossip columns when I was little. I remember my Gran whispering about it with my Aunties. Oooh to them it was juicy.

    3. he he he I can imagine the gran gossiping sessions :) The woman did marry eight times - what's more juicy than that :)

  3. It will be nice to see Helena Bonham Carter in a role where she doesn't look like some nightmarish freak who just rolled out of bed.

  5. Love, love, love. Yes on a scantily clad Kit (you know that's my fav photo).
Yes on Cumberbatch as Frankenstein, and yes on Burton and Taylor. That looks kind of good, as I was always sort of fascinated by Elizabeth Taylor.

    1. Kit really needs to do another scantily clad pic, since we've been overusing this one too much :)

  8. It will be interesting to see Carter in the role as Taylor. I think she'll do a great job. I think a movie on Pompeii would be hard since doesn't like everyone die in the end?

  9. Didn't Lindsay do an Elizabeth Taylor movie? Ugh. Not excited at all. And too much Frankenstein. Guillermo should concentrate on bringing the HP Lovecraft movie "The Mountains of Madness" to life.

    1. why do people mention LiLo on my site? :)
Not sure Madness will get to the Mountains... ever since Cruise ditched him, the project is on hiatus :)

  16. Benedict Cumberbatch will make a great lead for that movie.

I'm not sure about Helena Bonham Carter as Elizabeth Taylor. All I ever see is Helena Bonham Carter in every role she plays.

    1. yep, I was kinda disappointed with her look in the trailer, because she looked much more like Liz on the picture above than in the clip.
