STEVEN DEKNIGHT'S "INCURSION" SF SHOW & DIANA GABALDON'S "OUTLANDER" EPIC ON STARZ! "THE FALL" BBC TRAILER WITH GILLIAN ANDERSON & JAMIE DORNAN! FAMILY ADVENTURE "THE DRAGON PEARL" TRAILER WITH SAM NEILL!

  STARZ EPIC SHOWS
INCURSION & OUTLANDER
According to "Deadline" Starz has finished gathering the writers for the "writers room" for their potentially new showINCURSION. Unlike other channels which order pilots, Starz has "writers rooms" with writers whose task is to pen enough episodes for a full season order. INCURSION comes from SPARTACUS creator Steven DeKnight and revolves around a group of soldiers caught in a war against a hostile alien race. Each season of the potential series will be fought on a new, exotic planet as humanity inches deeper into enemy territory. Starz is also preparing "writers room" for OUTLANDER. Based on Diana Gabaldon's book, It follows Claire, a married WWII combat nurse, who mistakenly steps back in time to year 1743 where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world of adventure that sends her on the run and threatens her life. When Claire is forced to marry Jamie, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, it ignites a passionate affair that tears Claire’s heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

  THE FALL BBC SERIES
GILLIAN ANDERSON & JAMIE DORNAN IN  THRILLER
Your first trailer for today is for new BBC's television series THE FALL which should hit small screens May 13th in UK and later on at Netflix in USA. The trailer is rather intriguing and atmospheric presenting two lead stars - X FILES star Gillian Anderson and Irish superhunk Jamie Dornan whom you've watched as the sheriff in ONCE UPON A TIME. Trying to runaway from his image of a top model, Dornan here plays serial killer Paul Spector, who has a dark fascination with solicitor Sarah Kay (Laura Donnelly). Gillian Anderson plays a detective brought to Belfast to solve a mysterious murder and catch the killer. The psychological thriller will have five parts!

  THE DRAGON PEARL

 ADVENTURE TRAILER
Your second trailer for today is for a film which will hit DVD and VOD this June: family adventure THE DRAGON PEARL starring Sam Neill, Louis Corbett,  Jordan Chan....  Josh (Louis Corbett) and Ling (Li Lin Jin) thought they were in for a boring vacation with each of their parents at an archaeological dig in China. It turns into an adventure of a lifetime when they discover a mournful dragon trapped deep inside a mystical temple. According to ancient legend, the dragon is missing its life force, a sacred pearl that is hidden away in a secret chamber. Josh and Ling must battle evil forces (and some very skeptical parents) in their heart-stopping journey to return the magical pearl to its rightful owner.

    2. The first episode of Defiance was very misleading... :(

    3. yep, the first one was grand and good and now the show has turned into some cheap crime series.... I don't like it.... I'm still watching but not thrilled, and everything in it looks cheap which is strange since the whole show cost $100 million together with the game platform.

  3. Outlander is my favorite. I've read it so many times. Can't wait to see what they do with it, though they'll never match the book the way I see it in my head. :)

And The Fall looks very intriguing. I'll be checking that out later.

    3. ooooh, we're waiting for the dragon eggs to hatch!!!

    4. This is from a Kickstarter I backed, they are so cool. I do have two sculpts of dragons emerging from their eggs, then I have two as they are babies and then I have an adult. I also have their dragon mistress. She's gorgeous and she's got a tiny dragon perched on her shoulder. I have to wait until I'm a good enough painter to do that set though.

  7. "The Fall" is great news! I'll be happy to see Gillian back on air, and I also liked Dornan in OUAT. The trailer is tricky, loved the way it messes up with your brain ans received ideas!
Is it going to be a proper TV show or just a couple of TV movies?

  14. You know I love Jamie and I'd give this a go. But if the serial killer thing is too scary, I can't watch it.

The Dragon Pearl is definitely for me. The idea of rescuing one of these ancient beasties is entrancing. To ride on the back of one, beyond dreams.

    1. he most probably will be scary since he plays a married man with kids who loves to kill. I won't watch it but I know most people like such shows.

    2. I like detective shows where you have to think about clues, but I can't watch things like this. It gets trapped in my head and kicks back on me when I dream. Also, the real world is twisted enough, I need my entertainment to be intelligent or fun.

    3. me too, Annzie, that is why I avoid crime shows and watch mostly epics
