GORGEOUS "SUMMER IN FEBRUARY" TRAILER WITH DAN STEVENS, DOMINIC COOPER, EMILY BROWNING! 1ST PIC OF EVA GREEN AS ARTEMISIA IN "300 RISE OF AN EMPIRE"! ASHLEY JUDD JOINS KATE WINSLET IN "DIVERGENT"

It seems that one mega gorgeous and ultra talented actress in the form of Kate Winslet wasn't enough for DIVERGENT, but now another one - Ashley Judd - has joined the cast too! The movie adaptation of fantasy bestseller by Veronica Roth is set in a world where citizens are divided into five distinct factions, based on personality traits. The story follows Tris (Shailene Woodley), who is a "divergent," someone who doesn't fit into any one of the stringent factions. She discovers a conspiracy to destroy all the divergents, and must learn why divergents are so dangerous before it's too late! Ashley Judd will play Tris' mother joining Kate Winslet, Jai Courtney, Theo James and Maggie Q in the cast!

  ARTEMISIA FROM  EPIC
'300 RISE OF AN EMPIRE'
And after the first glorious pictures from epic prequel 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE which showed Sullivan Stapleton as Themistokles, here's the first picture showing Eva Green as evil Artemisia, female general of the Persian army lead by emperor Xerxes (to be played again by brilliant Rodrigo Santoro). She pits him against the brave Greeks in the film which opens up this August and will feature tones of naval battles!

  DAN STEVENS IN
SUMMER IN FEBRUARY TRAILER
And after really beautiful ROMEO AND JULIET trailer yesterday, here's another gorgeous one: first clip for period set drama SUMMER IN FEBRUARY starring DOWNTON ABBEY's  Dan Stevens, Emily Browning and Dominic Cooper. Stevens and Cooper play a land agent and bohemian artist competing for the affections of Emily Browning's Florence. Set in the period before the World War One, the film brings a true tale of love, liberty and scandal amongst the Edwardian artists' colony in Cornwall!  The film focuses on the wild and bohemian Lamorna Group, which included Alfred Munnings. The incendiary anti-Modernist Munnings, now regarded as one of Britain's most sought-after artists, is at the centre of the complex love triangle, involving aspiring artist Florence Carter-Wood and Gilbert  Evans, the land agent in charge of the Lamorna Valley estate. True - and deeply moving - the story is played out against the timeless beauty of the Cornish coast, in the approaching shadow of The Great War.

  1. I guess Judd had time for the movie since she's no longer running for congress :(

  3. Hey Dezmond. In answer to your question I don't know because I've never eaten a felafel. I had to Google what they were. But I still say, try it. Why not? That's the fun of baking.

    Cheers & Boogie Boogie.

    1. oh, I thought you have falafel in USA, I could swear I often heard people mention it in your shows :) Those are kind of balls or patties made from chickpeas and friend in oil.

    2. I don't know what others eat but for me, I've never tried one. Heard the name, didn't know what they were.

The fairs here do a lot of deep fried things. I don't usually eat that stuff because all I taste is the oil.

      Icky.

Though a girl at work was talking about deep fried Oreos. Never had that either. Or any of those fried candy bar creations.

    3. when I make falafel I usually bake it in the oven to avoid oil :) The trouble is that here we don't have canned already cooked chickpea, so I have to soak it and cook it myself :(
Deep fried Oreos? That sounds horrible! I don't like US obsession with industrial products :( How do you fry a candybar? You bread it first?

    4. I don't know how they fry them, if the bread it first or use a batter. Really don't eat fair foods. Though I like your idea of baking. I do that with my screaming fries. Baking is so fun.

Hey, with dried chickpeas you could ground your own flour. I do that with stuff at home and love it.

    5. and then you use it like a regular flour? The thing is that chickpeas are quite expensive here and a kilo of that flour would cost ten times more than the regular one :)
I use much more lentils (mostly the orange one) in my cooking.

Frying and breading chocolate bars really sounds horrid - as if they're not caloric bombs by itself...

    6. Why not ground your own chickpeas?

I have so far, used the garbanzo flour with brown organic pastry flour. Today's bake will be all garbanzo.

You mentioned lentils. That's another ingredient I fix to ground into a meal/flour and bake with. The store had lentil flour but it was cheaper to get the dried lentils and make the flour myself.

    7. I've no idea what garbanzo is, has a funny name :) Like something from the Muppets LOL

Lentils are amazing and very healthy. When I boil them with some garlic and celery leaves and then mash them into a pure with some mayo, I always save the water in which they cook and use it for amazing tomato soup, it gives the soup such richness.

    8. Garbanzo is another word for chickpea.

Yeah, I love the taste of lentils. And I'm excited to make the flour and then use it for a bake.

    9. But yeah, it does sound funny. Which I like.

  9. Falafels are a staple around here. We have them at least once a week and they're such a great fast food, especially when my vegetarian friends come by!

Stevens should be great in this. I like his performance in Downton Abby.

  10. Falafel is wonderful! :)

Not too keen on a teen romance period or not. It looks kind of boring and oh so typical, two men competing for one woman because oh she is wonderful and magical we must have her. BS Real guys move on without a care. Fighting over a woman is fantasy through and through. I doubt any man would fight for a woman with his friend unless he just wanted to be an ass.

Divergent just looks so dumb. I can't believe they are going through all this hype for that piece of crap.
