AMAZING NEW CHARACTER PICTURES FROM THE SECOND SEASON OF HBO'S "GAME OF THRONES" EPIC SERIES! SYFY TURNING PAUL BETTANY'S "LEGION" INTO TV SHOW

Good news for all of you who love sf like I do. Remember the super cool, wonderfully trashy and rather crazy sf flick LEGION from 2010 with Paul
Bettany
? It was quite a flop in cinemas, but it still has a lot of fans and is a hit on the DVD market, so SyFy came up with the idea to make it into a TV show. The plot of the film revolved around God losing faith in humanity and sending his legion of angels to wipe out the human race for the second time. After that mankind's only hope lied in a group of misfits holed up in a diner in the desert who are aided by the archangel Michael who believes there is still something good among humans so he defies God and helps them defend from the legion of dark angels unleashed from heavens above.

GAME OF THRONES RETURNS
I know most of you are excited about the second season of HBO's hit epic series GAME OF THRONES which should start airing in April, and while you are waiting you can check out a bunch of new images
released yesterday around the net. New pictures are mostly character ones since they present most of the old and new heroes from the show, from Kit Harrington, Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey, Jack Gleeson to Nikolaj Coster Waldau, Alfie Allen and others... The
second season was shot in Ireland and in Croatia. As you can guess, the story in the new season will be based on action and war, Lady Stark and her sons will try to revenge the death of their husband and father,
Princess Daenerys will try to secure her throne and I hope she will have the help of her adorable dragon babies born in the dramatic finale of the first season, idiotic King Joffrey will continue irritating us when he starts pouring his anger on equally idiotic Sansa Stark who's brother's
Northern armies are marching over to take him down, Cersei Baratheon will continue with her evil schemes and plots, Jon Snow will bravely go to the other side of The Wall where eternal winter rules, little Arya will try to return home... so lots of exciting things awaiting us this April over at HBO!

    1. looks like you're all set for the second season then :)) Hope it will be better directed than the first one, and more dynamic.

    2. Well, in book 2 this is war, so I guess it might be a little bit more dynamic XD Did you think season 1 was not so well directed?

    3. the direction within the episodes was often quite confusing, and the episodes themselves weren't always very focused, but the show was good generally speaking.

  4. Idiotic Joffery, indeed! But even with that little donkey fart on the throne I'm very excited by the promo HBO's put out so far. Let dragon babies rain from the skies! :-) Thanks for the info, Dezz!

    2. Ha! You're right. I think I got those two films confused. Are you sure they aren't the same movie?

    3. I also got them confused when I read the news today and got happy because I thought it was PRIEST, the more sf one, but a second later realized it's the one with fallen angels :)

  8. I watched Legion and totally loved it. But I didn't get that specific story plot from the movie; although I did feel the two angels were on the same side. Yeah, I'd watch the series.

Oh, I can't look at A Game of Thrones :( I wish I could afford HBO to watch it. I'm hoping one of my friends at work who is known to buys series on DVD will purchase it and loan it to me.

    You're such a tease Dezzy.

    1. you two should watch PRIEST with him and Karl Urban too, it was wonderfully trashy too and a joy to watch and it lasts just 80 minutes which is highly unusual for today's cinema.

  10. Legion ended in a way so that it would run right into a series, so not a bad idea. But it's on sci-fi so I won't hold my breath for more than a season or too. Not that I really liked the movie anyway, was okay to me but meh. I'll be getting on watching game of thrones soon.

    1. Yep, having SyFy as your channel usually means your future is doomed :)

    2. Unless your good old wrestling, as you know that is soooo sci fi, maybe SyFy stands for something else?

    3. they have wrestling? Hope it's porn wrestling for after midnight hours :)

  11. I remember Legion advertised but I didn't get to see it. The premise was a little silly.

As you know, I'm soooooo looking forward to Game of Thrones.

    1. GAME OF THRONES should be nice in the second season!

  12. Yeah, I got confused between Legion and Priest - because Paul Bettany plays it the same in each. Legion was ok. Priest looked good, but didn't deliver. IMO.

    REALLY looking forward to GOT2.

    1. I loved PRIEST more than LEGION, I love films set in some future time and space, and I love dystopian films too, not to mention how much I adore Karl Urban and I also love Bettany, Cam Gigandet and Christopher Plummer.

    1. it was a nice film, Baur, I usually like Andrew Niccol's sf films.
Actually here in Serbia we don't really have DVD market, so I don't have any special theater system. And we don't really have money for lovely things like that :) I have LG LCD TV and I watch films on it (God Bless Torrents) :)

  17. i don't really think a legion series will be worth the time, afterall, it was bettany that made that movie so entertaining (for me) and i'm sure he wouldn't be in the series.

but i did enjoy that movie. i SWEAR the scene with the little old lady on the wall is one of the freakiest strangest things i've ever seen.

oh man! i really need to see that first season of GoT! i keep forgetting about it for some reason.
