J. EDGAR biopic which already features Leonardo De Caprio,

DOOM which starred
Dwayne Johnson and
Karl Urban back in 2005 will get a reboot.
Now here's something that seems like a heartwarming new show: According to "Hollywood Reporter" ABC is preparing a charming and magical new pilot called
HALLELUJAH. The story will revolve around a stranger who comes to the small town of Hallelujah to bring justice, peace and restore the faith in the world the residents of the troubled town desperately need. Apparently the show will also feature songs sung by a gospel choir in each episode :). The cast already includes young
Arielle Kebbel and
Frances O'Connor.
Another Guillermo Del Toro project - excellent!

ReplyDeleteI am all about the Guillermo Del Toro project. I love his work. And I am interested in the J. Edgar pic because of Dame Judi and I cannot resist her.

Oh I love Amanda Seyfried!! I think "Gone" may have a chance at being good if it's executed right. However, I have a bad feeling it won't.

ReplyDeleteI have been looking forward to the J. Edgar Biopic since I first heard about it. He's such a fascinating historical figure, and with the star-studded cast and direction of Eastwood, it should be great!

Yeah, for sure. So often we get all excited about a movie...the story sounds great, the trailer looks awesome, the actors are good, but then the movie bombs.

you didn't like DOOM? :))) I kinda enjoyed it :) probably because it featured both Dwayne and Karl, which is quite enough for me when it comes to a great cast :)
I've always wondered what happened to Bentley's career after American Beauty... I thought he's a pretty decent actor and good looking, too. He's not as boring as a lot of young actors out there.

I liked him most in FOUR FEATHERS (by one of my favourite directors Shekhar Kapur). It's interesting that he has grown quite old in looks, and doesn't look that young anymore like in AMERICAN BEAUTY.
