  2. I'm a bit fed up the whole alien invasion bit, but I doubt my aggravation will keep me from watching this. Damn my inner geek. It also forces me to watch all those corny remakes against my better judgement.

  4. War of the Worlds meets Skyline meets Aliens meets V... That's quite a mashup.

  5. This looks interesting except for Noah Wylie. He's a great side kick and ensemble player, but he's just not strong enough to carry a show or film. He may surprise me, but based on this trailer...I don't see it happening.

  6. With that beard, Noah Wylie looks kinda like Steven Spielberg! Think that's the look he's going for?

    I agree, but he did have a leading role already in that LIBRARIAN TV films which were quite successful.

    Noah has always been a bit of a rugged looking boy ;)

    @Avalon
    I'm guessing that you won't watch COWBOYS AND ALIENS which include Indians as well :)

  16. I was a little worried when you mentioned Noah Wyle because he can sometimes be good (ER) and sometimes he can be...ahem...well, you already mentioned Librarian. After seeing the trailer however, this might be worth checking out.

    I agree with you on Noah. He was so good in ER and not so good in LIBRARIAN. But the show could become new THE WALKING DEAD :)

    @Dempsey
    did you watch the old V series? I loved those while I was growing up as a kid :)

  19. It sounds good. Too bad it's a TV show. I don't know if I'll be willing to commit to this especially during summer. Maybe when it comes out on DVD.

  26. I dunno. The idea is pretty overdone, but then so are zombies and people keep coming up with new ways to tell the story. Maybe this will be good, but you wouldn't know from the trailer.
